Yard slave, 1564 is sent out along with GP7 1508 to rescue a train that has stalled on Medina hill west of Neenah. All the grain loads were just too much for the other two Geeps (1507 & 1506). This is one of the times where I wished I had a camcorder with me as these just screamed by me. It is wierd seeing an SW1500 lead a train. The two leaders stayed with the train to Winnebago where a unit was left by an eastbound that was ahead of this guy.
WC SD45 7525 and GBW RSD-15 pose in front of barn 9. Didn't think a scene like this would be possible, just need to patch the ATSF 92 for WC 6652 and we will be set.
Big thanks to Kevin Sadowski for his lighting and the many people at IRM that worked hard to make this happen.

After the Soo Line took over the Milwaukee Road, they quickly found an easier way to Green Bay via Neenah and the Shawano Subs to Black Creek over the Green Bay and Western trackage to Green Bay. The WC still honored that tradition until they bought out both the GBW and Fox River Valley Railraod and then used the FRVR tracks to Green Bay. Here we have train 19 about to cross County Hiway JJ just north of Appleton. A couple of banditized ex Milwaukee Road/Soo Line SDL-39's takes up that honor
A dime a dozen. During the beginning of the WC, green would be all you could see. Eastbound going thru downtown Oshkosh.
