I was at Wind Point in Racine, Wisconsin on May 18, 2012 and was taking photos when I got this one of a wave crashing on rocks on the shore.

Used to spend summers here as a teen!

Looks like the sea is angry at the billionnaires who pollute it, so it want to hit them :)

Few days hiking in East, in the deserted coastal inlets between Borgarfjörður Eystri and the fjord of Seyðisfjörður (57 km).

A combination of mountains and ocean, you leave valleys and hike over the mountains... again, again and again... The mountains are glorious and they come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Hiking at the end of the world, sometimes above the clouds: magic!

Its been a busy week for Irish Ferries & Stena Line, with numerous delays & cancellations caused by the extreme windy weather in the lead up to Christmas 2013.

Once again, the mighty Ulysses has been the champion, while the other smaller vessels remained in port, this giant carried on, sometimes the only passenger ship on the central corridor.

Both companies taking a well earned rest over the next 2 days.

For high speed ferries, the power of the nature forced the Jonathan Swift to remain docked, while the Christmas season Stena HSS which only began operating last Friday couldn't operate on a number of days.

Seen above, the Stena Nordica arrives in blustery conditions, waves crashing against the breakwater on the South Wall along the Pigeon House.
