From a sunrise shoot with fellow flickr photographers Archie McCafferty and Warwick Briggs at Susan Gilmore Beach, NSW; Australia this week.

Lee hard 0.9 grad and Zomei 3 stop ND filters used to achieve an exposure around 0.5 seconds and blur the water.

This beach was once infamous as a nudist beach, but with more relaxed public acceptance of partial nudity on most beaches; this tends not to happen here nowadays.

Life seems to be like a wave, with up and downs. Today is a "up" day. My best friend came to visit me in the mountains of Jura. I think it will be a good week-end with her, my first good one for a long time.
