in the turbulent inter-tidal zone, the breakers wash over this sturdy seaweed that I named 'palm tree seaweed'. Not a clear shot...but I liked the subject matter.

The offshore winds form wonderful spindrift when the the sea is rough.
Spent the weekend in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Marquette. Beautiful weather and a beautiful trip. One of my favorite areas to visit local to me. Great geology, great hiking, lovely weather and great people.
These two photos are at Wetmore Landing taken shortly before sunset (sunlight behind me). I highly regret not having my filter sets with me at this time, but I was trying to pack light and didn't have them or my tripod.
