I have shown you many boats that are found on the backwaters. Early one morning ,I left the large house boat I was on and gingerly and carefully lowered myself into a canoe to greet the sunrise.

No I wasn't rowing like the lovely ladies of the lake who do it as part of their every day life. In fact, the captain of the house boat who was rowing, seemed a little miffed that I insisted on exploring the canals by canoe.

The sunrises and sunsets throughout India when I was there were not very intense and light came and went like a whisper.

A beautiful and highly recommended national park not far from the city of Luoping/Yunnan/South West China.

Yesterday after sunset, the sky on the Moselle colored in delicately tender pink tones.

In the picture the wine-growing community Lieser near Bernkastel-Kues with the newly renovated Castle Lieser, which will soon open after extensive renovation as first class hotel.

Gestern nach Sonnenuntergang färbte sich der Himmel an der Mosel in herrlich zarten Rose´-Tönen.

Im Bild die Weinbaugemeinde Lieser bei Bernkastel-Kues mit dem neu renovierten Schloss Lieser, das demnächst nach umfangreicher Renovierung als Luxushotel öffnet.

From canoes to bright colored boats like this one, boats are found along the shore line of the backwaters in Kerala. For me, the water flowers make this one of the most magical parts of world.

The river Rio Sado taken from Alcacer do Sal, Portugal.

The beauty of Venice appears in the flower pots on the windows, the gliding motion of the sleek romantic gondolas and the ambiance created by living on the water.

I revisited this beautiful place a few weeks ago during the sunrise and captured this peaceful moment. I hope you like it :)

The charming little hotel where I stayed in Venice had a terrace restaurant where I ate one night. The hotel was the home of the famous composer, Vivaldi, and was on St. Mark's Basin. It was also next to this great canal where one had a view of several bridges.

The canals of Venice are so busy and congested that the gondoliers must exercise caution when approaching another canal. The crowds in this beautiful city can be overwhelming but here is a romantic and solitary moment.

Das Mkhaya Game Reserve (Mkhaya ist der lokale Name der Baumart Senegalia nigrescens) ist seit 1985 einer von sechs Nationalparks in Eswatini. Er wird in öffentlich-privater Partnerschaft durch Big Game Parks betrieben, das auf Ted Reilly zurückgeht. Es wurde ursprünglich zum Schutz der Nguni-Rinder eingerichtet.

Zu den wichtigsten und größten Tierarten im Schutzgebiet gehören Spitzmaulnashorn, Warzenschwein, Nyala, Suni und Duiker.

Venice is a city of canals, bridges and boats. The canal next to my hotel was very picturesque in the day light and in the twilight of morning a shadowy mysterios place.
