The younger one chose to watch the snow from the inside while the older one played outside...at least for a little bit... before he joined him outside. ;o)
After watching beautiful mammatus near Bassett, NE we headed east for some lightning photography.
However, twenty minutes later we had to stop again because of the awe-inspiring colouring of this mammatus....

This drop depicts that fun old game, Watch the Balls. For those not familiar, one person is the designated thrower, otherwise known as The Designated Thrower. The remaining players are the watchers, otherwise known as The Watchers.
The game starts when The Designated Thrower starts chucking balls. The Watchers, who are watching, stand to the side and watch.
Ummmm, that about sums it up.
At least it's better than Tennis.

Watching the SpaceX/Axiom-3 manned space launch from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Foggy....we couldn't see it....but you do get a decent "sonic boom" out of it. This was taken in New Smyrna Beach, about 40 miles away. Falcon 9 Rocket with it's Crew Dragon capsule. Off to the International Space Station.
The watch I like. My watch.

Exmoor ponies grazing wild on Goonhilly. This hardy breed is adapted to living on the rough ground. The ‘gunhilly’ ponies that once grazed the Lizard rough ground were probably smaller in stature, more like Shetland ponies .
I've been putting out peanuts for the squirrels and Ruffy is moaning and groaning to go out to scare them away from HER fence!! I'll let her out after the squirrels are done eating. ;-)

Our Daily Challenge: Pastime. I watch birds. I am a novice but I love it. This is a male Eastern Towhee. They feed on the ground, never the feeders. But they do feed below my feeders a few times in a day. They make a distinct "towhee" sound - meaning, it rather sounds like that.
The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his dog.
