April 30, 2023 - Watch House located in Coffman Park, Dublin, Ohio.
"Columbus artist Todd Slaughter created an earthen mound and house as a contemplative space. The artwork is envisioned as a counterpoint to the activities of the Dublin Community Recreation Center, which is separated from Watch House by Indian Run stream. The artwork's visual reference to a planetarium and a house bridging a prehistoric Indian mound is intended as a celebration of the history and a symbol of the future of Dublin." Dublin Art in Public Places commission, installed 1998. copper, bronze, stone toddslaughter.net/watch-house

We spent an amazing day on the water today on a whale watching tour with some great friends. We were fortunate enough to see humpback whale, and a whole lot of orca whales. Three orca pods were traveling and frolicking together and we sure enjoyed the special show!
The pocket watch belonged to my MIL's father. MIL is 91 this year (2008). The fob is a piece of translucent agate. Beautiful.

One good way to test the water or watch the reaction of the characters in a new territory by down on one knee in the middle of the street and shoot the on-coming crowds. From these characters' reaction, I know that they are familiar with street photographers.
