One thing I've witnessed about Ants is, similar to how meticulous Spiders are about their webs, Ants are meticulous about their territory. I don't know if this dead Ant was a trespasser or one that had been found dead "in the field" so to speak. Seriously, when I reviewed this the first thing that popped into mind was warzones in the Middle East, the Desert Rats and such. Wildlife is exactly that, wild!

We seem to be getting dangerously close to world war! Is it worth it???? Do you have any idea how many people lose everything and are left in complete and utter misery? Why can we not find a way to sit down and discuss our situation, without the power of money and greed? It is beyond time to find a solution and if we don't we have no-one to blame other than ourselves!!

Wikipedia: The JEATH War Museum (Thai: พิพิธภัณฑ์อักษะเชลยศึก) is a war museum in Kanchanaburi, Thailand about the Death Railway built from 1942 to 1943 by Allied POWs under the direction of the Japanese, a part of the Thai-Burma railways.
The acronym JEATH stands for the primary nationalities involved in the construction of the railway: Japanese, English, Australian, American, Thai and Holland, whereas the Thai name is Phíphítháphan Songkhram Wát Tâi (Wat Tai War Museum).

Der Gendarmenmarkt enstand ab 1688 als Teil der Friedrichstadt im heutigen Bezirk Berlin-Mitte.
In diesem Viertel siedelten sich ein Großteil der französischen Hugenotten an die, wegen Ihres Glaubens in Ihrer ursprünglichen Heimat Frankreich, in Preußen einwanderten.
Der Große Kurfürst Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg hat mit seinem dem Edikt von Potsdam im Jahr 1685 den Schutz ihrer religiösen Freiheit und volles Bürgerrecht zugesichert hatte. Das angesiedelte Kürassierregiment Gens d`amee war der Namensgeber für den Platz
Drei Bauten prägen das Bild des Platzes, im Norden des Platzes der Französische Dom, ihm gegenüber im Süden der lutherische Deutsche Dom und in der Mitte das Konzerthaus zu dessen Füßen der Brunnen mit seinen Figuren. Der Gendarmenmarkt gilt als der schönste Platz in Berlin

Gendarmenmarkt was established in 1688 as part of Friedrichstadt in what is now the Berlin-Mitte district.
The majority of the French Huguenots who immigrated to Prussia because of their faith in their original homeland of France settled in this neighbourhood.
The Great Elector Frederick William of Brandenburg guaranteed the protection of their religious freedom and full civil rights with his Edict of Potsdam in 1685. The cuirassier regiment Gens d`amee that settled here gave the square its name
The square is characterised by three buildings: the French Cathedral to the north, the Lutheran German Cathedral opposite it to the south and the concert hall in the middle, at the foot of which is the fountain with its figures. The Gendarmenmarkt is considered the most beautiful square in Berlin

...Dank einer Recht großen Verspätung war es am 18.11.2020 möglich den Normal am Vormittag Fahrenden gemischt Zug aus Zwickau zu fotografieren. Direkt nach der Arbeit ging es an den Nürnberger Ostbahnhof und dabei hätten mein Kollege und ich keine Minute länger brauchen dürfen. An der Stelle angekommen sahen wir bereits das das Ausfahrsignal in Richtung Dutzendteich Hp2 zeigte. Da war uns klar jetzt ist Eile angesagt also rauf auf die Feuertreppe der angrenzenden Schule und Kameras raus. Oben angekommen gelang es gerade noch die Kameras einzustellen da fuhr auch schon 232 472 mit ihrem 17 Wagen starken Zug und einer V60 am Zugschluss durchs Bild. Zufrieden könnten wir danach entspannt die Treppe wieder hinunter steigen.

During our War Horse walk (see previous upload), we did encounter many Dartmoor ponies. This one at least had the same nice brown colour like Joey from the film but missing the white socks and spot on the head. I took this photo next to Drizzlecombe, a fantastic Bronze age settlement with long stone rows, round houses, cists and huge standing stones..very impressive!
