A tooth wallet for Reuben, complete with pocket to place tooth in. Just tie up and place under your pillow for the tooth fairy.
I made this wallet for a friend of mine (so conveniënt to put in the mailbox ;).
Changed the measurements (added ca 0.5 cm around the edges).
Fabrics are kokka - minny muu, and laura ashley - for lining.
I used a texture sheet that looks like diamond plate steel for the back and I treated the clay so that it also looks rusted. An olive green ponytail holder loops around the gear on the front to hold the wallet closed.
Trying something new with this wallet design. Some people don't like to fold their bills or stick 'em in the change pocket, which makes sense: they kinda get smashed down in there... I think I need to use a lighter fabric, though. This wallet's a bit thick, I think.
Outside view of a credit/debit/ID card wallet. The wallet is made of polymer clay except the elastic band for the clasp, the ribbon "binding," and the interior (which is made of paper). The image I printed onto a thin sheet of cooked polymer clay on my inkjet printer. The elastic band is in the "open" position in the photo. In the "closed" position it would be wrapped around the clay bamboo.

At first I plan to use only 2 master colors : Purple and green.
But it's turn out so colorful. ^_^"
Made using the Necessary Clutch Wallet Pattern from Emmaline Bags. I changed the flap by not using the trim around the edge and using a catch/tuck closure. The fabric is a HGTV home dec cotton.

Ask MetaFilter and Tom Bihn have been part of a mutual admiration society for quite some time. They sent me this cork fabric wallet [along with some other stuff] and it's even niftier than I thought it would be. First new wallet since the chain wallet back in Seattle, and clips right into my backpack!
I got this idea from the Trashy Novel wallets. I used illustrations from a vintage childrens' book. The wallets are covered in vinyl and snap shut.
Two wallet submissions. Both from a calendar coming out in 2009. The tiger hunt has some humor with the tiger lurking in the background. The circus submission is strong as a full look but in half both sides have strong individual images.

This is a kevlar wallet for the minimalist. When a bifold is too big, this should be just right. Now with an added clear ID sleeve on the back... say hello to wallet efficiency.
About the material:
Aramid doesn’t have the same following as carbon fiber, but it should. Kevlar and Technora are both name brand members of the Aramid family that you might be familiar with. Kevlar has been made famous by its use in body armor and flame resistant clothing. Its the stuff that they use to stop bullets and walk through fire, just in a different format. The Kevlar Aramid cloth we use is sailcloth- which gives it a unique glossy waterproof finish. So while you might be tempted to buy an Aramid wallet and call it bullet proof, we don’t suggest putting that theory to the test.
