My latest handmade wallet.
This time I try to made it based on Marine Theme with scrapbook-like style.
The shiny surface of the front panel is from a decoupage glue that I coated the fabric.
Made from a pattern by Valori Wells Designs called "Little Wallet". This one I made with a magnetic closure, so I use it for carrying paper money and business cards.
I designed a wallet for Poketo!

Got inspired to try and make duck tape wallet one yesterday evening - I think it took about an hour. Including the time spent on Instructables and youtube.
It has a couple of design flaws such as tape edges that the cards can stick on - but I will see how it fares over time.

one of the fun, very simple activities for all my clients is to get their wallets looking sharp. Decluttered, user-friendly, a metaphor for their overall financial life.
I got bored of my duct tape wallet, so I made myself a new one out of fabric this time. The plaid fabric is from a pair of shorts I found at a thrift store, and the pockets and lining are made from a canvas bag, also from said thrift store. My stitching skills leave something to be desired, but it's good enough for me.

Built myself a new duct tape wallet as the old one was wearing out.
I built the pockets around the cards I wanted to hold into them, with the sticky parts out, stuck those to the pocket of the wallet base, and then added tape on top to hold them on. I really needed a tri-fold wallet after having a bi-fold for a long time, so I made what I wanted.

I did make this wallet from the Quilted fabric wallet tutorial from "that darn kat". I did use fabrics from Heather Bailey's Freshcut line that I bought from the wonderful Etsy shop Starlitnest. I have also added a pic of the wallet inside. Great pattern and beautiful selection of fabrics made in the store!!!
