On a super December Sunday, Wheeling stone train 732 is on the former AC&Y in Greenwich, OH about to go onto the CSX at GN tower.
CSXT 8823/8533 lead a hot 20 car W86025 south on the Saginaw Sub. Originating in Port Huron, then to Flint, MI, the train would be destined for Conrail Shared Asset's South Jersey yard, Pavonia, in Camden, NJ
Dutch Design Week 2017 in Eindhoven (the Netherlands). The (w)ego pavilion by MVRDV is a fascinating real size sketch that visualises the idea of adaptable living spaces that follow its inhabitants' changing needs for specific spaces. A very interesting concept that may pave the way to new technical developments in optimised urban living space. The striking colours mark each individual space, but the use of colours is also are a reference to its original source of inspiration: the famous children’s cartoon Barbapapa.

(Ecclesiastically speaking, the west end of the south wall.) It was sculpted by Sir Jacob Epstein, who, sadly, died in 1959, and therefore didn't live to see his masterpiece mounted on the cathedral wall a year later.
The choice of Epstein for the work initially troubled various members of the cathedral's Reconstruction Committee. The phrase "But he is a Jew", plus the controversial nature of some of his previous work, were among the reasons put forward against his selection for the sculpting of St. Michael, the cathedral's patron saint. Thanks to a text from Uncle Wak and a facebook post from Poker2662 , I was able to salvage something from the part of the surprisingly clear Groundhog day that I didn\'t waste trying to find something on NS's Ft Wayne line in the Mansfield area. This was a Brewster-Spencer-Medina turn that would pull across the diamond, back into the siding along the former AC&Y, run around the train, and go long hood forward into Medina. LHF and out of the sun and my day was done.
