W&LE #200 leads the Solon local, train 663 south at a little S curve on the north end of suburban Twinsburg on 4/20/2020. #200 received special paint for the Ohio bicentennial in 2003 and has held up fairly well. It was built for the Southern in 1964 as their #2706 and retains the Alco trucks that Southern traded to EMD when it was bought.

It was 5pm, driving through a storm with Stuart at the wheel, when he said "EAGLE, over the top of the Car. Get out"!
In a bit of a rush, I couldn't get the seat belt off (swearing). He then said, "get out of the window". Well, I was
half way out the window, seat belt still attached, turned upside down to get the shot, but then I couldn't focus on
it (more swearing). I had forgotten to turn the camera on (more swearing). He then shouted, "Alter your light compensator";
but it was too late. I clicked a few times before he was gone.
Stuart said, from where he was sitting, I looked likea big fat parcel trying to squeeze through a little letter box.
Needless to say I'll never heard the last of it.
That was my pathetic attempt at a shot of a Sea Eagle. Next time..........
I can proudly say: I had my best portrait ever. Thank lady for such a beauty and sensitivity. I am rarely fun of my own job. I have always dreamed to realise this sort of portraits. I feel lucky.

I hadn't visited Kohler-Andrae State Park (Wisconsin) since before our Florida trip. As there was no storm or severe wind chill, I decided to do a little exploration this morning. The park has many different ecosystems-I wandered along the dunes that overlook the western shore of lake Michigan. There were no woodland creatures about, but there was faint sunlight and beautiful snowy landscapes to appreciate.
I chose to shoot winter in b&w.

Hanging out at mom's house with dad, Jake and Andrea. Took a trip back to Arizona to help Andrea move to Austin.
Made a B/W version to order a print of.. woo.
Small gas station made from round cobblestones from Oklahoma. Built sometime in the 30's after a fire destroyed most of the town around it. Long bypassed by the state highway in middle of middle texas.
Night, near full moon, 120 second exposure, protomachines set to blue, green, shot of white to the lt side to cover up the massive sodium vapor light to camera left.
