The W&LE has been doing a lot of trackwork on the Cleveland sub since taking back servicing the scrap yard at the north end of the line at E 93rd street. They're replacing a lot of ties. The track gang goes off duty at 3:00 PM so train 663 is often held until then. On this day the train was held north of Falls Junction for several hours. The town of Glenwillow moved the station across the track and maintains a little park next to the track. Very pleasant place if you have to wait any length of time for the train to move.

W&LE GP35 2661 rests at Conrail's Conway Yard in Conway, PA on April 8, 1992. Getting the W&LE in action was tough at this time in the Pittsburgh area. All I ever got was a handful of rosters at Conway and Mingo Jct. Trips to Rook Yard found nothing but a mostly empty yard. Apparently the roads fortunes have greatly improved since then.
