Macro Mondays - Dice.
I have used these blue translucent dice before - I was struck by the brilliance of the directly lit dots, and the play of light within the transilluminated cubes - and since the light was the subject, I thought I would work in B&W...
Strobe with grid from the right and level with the subject.

Snow geese were found gathering at Garry Point Park in Richmond BC on their journey South during the winter months in N. Hemisphere.
Married for almost 51 years; sweethearts for longer. Taken at breakfast in Arnprior near her 72nd birthday in March last year.

Usually the Ferris wheel is displayed in all its colorful glory like my previous photo... I thought I'd see how it looked in b&w.
In the county's Metroparks in Oakwood, the W&LE Cleveland sub runs close to Tinkers Creek for a short distance. On 11/6/2023, they only had one car to bring back from FPT, but they had 2 of the painted high hood ex Southern GP35's that ride on traded in Alco trucks. The Wheeling has 20 4 axle units that they might use on the Cleveland sub and only 7 of them are corporate painted high hoods. So the odds of getting 2 together aren't great. It does happen so I try to take advantage when it does. They would pick up more of a train in Falls Junction off of the Solon branch.
