The Bochumer Verein/ Jahrhunderthalle is a subway station below Alleestrasse in the Stahlhausen district of Bochum. It is located on the site of the former Bochum Association steelworks with the Jahrhunderthalle and Westpark. The Century House and the Thyssen Krupp House are not far away on the street.

Usually the Ferris wheel is displayed in all its colorful glory like my previous photo... I thought I'd see how it looked in b&w.

Barcelona

In the county's Metroparks in Oakwood, the W&LE Cleveland sub runs close to Tinkers Creek for a short distance. On 11/6/2023, they only had one car to bring back from FPT, but they had 2 of the painted high hood ex Southern GP35's that ride on traded in Alco trucks. The Wheeling has 20 4 axle units that they might use on the Cleveland sub and only 7 of them are corporate painted high hoods. So the odds of getting 2 together aren't great. It does happen so I try to take advantage when it does. They would pick up more of a train in Falls Junction off of the Solon branch.
