La propuesta para esta semana es el formato cuadrado 1:1 y B&W. pues se adapta a todas las disciplinas.
En esta ocasión me centraré en el viaje a Alaska pues ha sido una gran aventura por su gran territorio a bordo de una autocaravana (motorhome), con todas las comodidades de los americanos.
N&W sits on the turntable in Spencer at the Streamliners at Spencer. This is prior to the current restoration. Can't wait for 5/23/15 when I get to get at the throttle of this locomotive.

For Stick Season Sunday we see W&LE's Cleveland turn #663 just south of Kent on 3/13/2025 with high hood GP35 104 in the lead. High hoods are slowly disappearing on the Wheeling as they upgraded several to short hoods. But along with the short hoods does come fresh Tiger paint as the trailing #105 shows off. They had a healthy 53 cars out of Falls Junction that day.

I agonised over the colour on this shot for ages. It is a handheld shot taken really late in the day. The car was in the shadows, but the foliage was capturing a lot of golden sunlight. Lots of colourful reflections were also taking away from the sleek, black look of the car. It seemed that every edit I tried, made the car turn blue or the overall saturation looked really unnatural. Eventually, I decided to go down a different path and turned to a black & white. I'm really happy that I did. I think it makes the car really "pop" in the photo and stand out from the background.
Mark W Barker was constructed over a period of time being completed in 2022, and sailing to Duluth on her maiden voyage. Here she is on the approach for the Duluth Shipping canal for her first of many arrivals into Duluth.

Zamek w Besiekierach − ruiny późnogotyckiego zamku, położonego we wsi Besiekiery, w powiecie łęczyckim, w województwie łódzkim. Zamek powstał prawdopodobnie na przełomie XV i XVI w.
Wheeling train #325 is at Arcade Rd just west of Hartland. They had 129 loaded NS hoppers for the NS dock in Sandusky. The sun went down before they could make the turn on to the NS Sandusky District. There have only been a few of these trains this year. The talk is that it is loaded from a barge at Warrenton on the Ohio River.
