Obligatory VV shot. Cleaned up the background this time.

Alysha Marotto, ace pilot of the System Perimeter Defense Force - a branch of the Interstellar Republic of Corzibar Navy focused on defending the Republic’s homeworlds - and her PSI class ship the Void Fletcher.
The PSI (Precision Serriform Interceptor) class is a recent addition to the IRC Navy, the Void Fletcher being only the second to enter service. Armed only with a pair of twin plasma cannons and tri-phasers, it isn’t a heavy hitter, but its high maneuverability and speed allow it to play an important role in defense.
The realisation you’ve forgotten the things you cherish most creates a hole in your gut, that will never be filled. I’ve forgotten the feeling of your skin, your touch, your lips, your smell, your voice. I wish I could, if even just for a moment, get to remember all of the above things. I want to make sure I never forget any inch of you, again.
First version of “Into the Void”, a series of audiovisual installations exploring physical structures creating light and shadows with immersive audiovisual spaces.

A array of triangles is placed on the floor, each one has a LED strip on the back which are connected to an Arduino. On MAX, series of random numbers generators and different probabilities trigger a signal to each triangle, making it turn on or off. Max communicates with the Arduino through Maxuino.
At the same time that a triangle is triggered a MIDI message is sent to Ableton Live and plays notes on a MIDI Instrument and an OSC message is sent to Processing for the Visual output.
Following versions will explore new possibilities as different shapes and materials, and interactions with the visitors through sensors.

Backstory:
Matoran and Toa alike no very little of this elder entity, most of his history has been lost to legend. When Aeon acquired the power of the Vault, he ascended to godhood. When he achieved this god like status, he created life on Aeos-magna, a planet once covered in ash and dust. What Aeon didn’t expect when he reached godhood, is that he would be joined by another god like being. After his creation of Aeos, he heard a small, faint voice call out to him. This voice brought him to the brim of the known universe, Aeos being the heart of it. Once he reached the edge, he found a chasm of nothingness in front of him, filled with nothing but darkness. In this chasm, Aeon found a purple like miasma. This miasma was the voice that beckoned him. Aeon asked for its name, but only got one response, “Void”. The miasma formed into a being, a being looking much like a twisted, darker version of Aeon.
The Void had little to say to Aeon, simply explaining Aeon’s place in this world. When Aeon was created, The Void was created consecutively. It explained how the universe has an uncanny need for balance, for control over what it makes, and that it was the answer to Aeon. Aeon could not create recklessly without consequence, and The Void was that consequence. Whatever Aeon created needed to eventually die, decay, and rot away into nothingness, and The Void was the being to bring his creation into nothing. The Void also explained that Aeon, too, would be taken by him. Obviously, Aeon refuted this, how could his paradise be taken away from him?
He left The Void in his abyss and returned to his creation, to Aeos. He tried to block that abomination from his mind, but he couldn’t ignore it. Not long after he became hands off in his world, he confronted The Void again in his little pocket of darkness. Aeon set aside his arrogance and came to terms with The Void on how the universe would run. Obviously, creation must die, Aeon saw this happen without permission, and he was willing to accept this. As long as The Void did not take his habits too far, Aeon would not either.
However, after this final meeting, both beings kept secrets to help further their agendas. The Void, in his spare time, created the Apocalypse Triggers and let their seeds sow into the myths of Aeos-Magna. Aeon, in his spare time, has created unknown way to combat the destructive force of The Void. Only the future holds what will become of the universe in a war between this gods, but for now, they do what they must, together.
Driving along the coastal road of Iceland everything was quiet. No breeze and a thick layer of mist hanging about. Looking out of my car window taking in all of the landscapes beauty, i saw some distant rocks floating around in an empty void. It's a really rare sight to see Iceland this still. An opportunity witnessed by a man and his camera.
Day 3: The Void
This photo was the first idea that I had for Photober this year. I just got finished binging Stranger Things for the first time, and I knew I wanted to recreate the Void (also called El's mind palace) the first time I saw it.
It might not seem like it, but today was a very technical challenge. First off, I had to shoot low key in my new studio with my new equipment—none of which were working with me this morning. Next up was post processing, since this was all done in post except for the original portrait.
Perhaps the hardest part of this challenge was something I didn't think about when shooting this: perspective. Specifically, how a reflection changes perspective. I realized too late that simply "reflecting" myself along the waterline wasn't realistic, if only slightly. Lesson learned! Next time I do something like this, I think I'll just use real water ;.;
This picture is also the first Photober photo I've taken with my shirt off since top surgery! You can see my scars here, if you zoom in. I'm 6.5 weeks post-op, which means I'm considered "healed."

Ducting along the western footpath of Lord Hills Bridge, London. The ducting was constructed in January 2012 to house essential utility supplies during the construction of Crossrail. The entrance to Royal Oak underground station is on the opposite side of Lord Hills Bridge and the western tunnel of Crossrail, Royal Oak Portal, is being constructed immediately to the north of the underground station.

In the void of nothingness, because my thoughts are in a dark abyss of a void.

If you haven't heard yet, I have a sim now!
You can currently come visit, look around, and join us to do combat and some light roleplay. Or just come hang out!
Don't mind me if I am unresponsive. I'm very busy working on things to make it even more fun.

When we’re in love, we coat the other’s face
With a fine glass - quicksilver on the inside –
We start with it, and then we build at pace
A heart, red, blazing, sympathetic wide.
And on and on we go, with our bare hands
Adding a pearl, a ribbon, and a soul
So wide and limpid it will comprehend
The beauty and the goodness and the whole.
The trimming’s done, we will behold the glassed
Face, not able to make out that we have shaped
An idol: in the eyes that with our hands we’ve have cast
We see a reflection of ourselves. Yet aped.
It’s the void on the inside that will make the statue shatter
If we’re in front of it and then be smashed, it’ doesn’t matter.
