Can you guess which movie title this photo represents?

Long time barbecue place which is now under new ownership. You might think this is not a good thing, but the new owners are actually open when you come by, the feng shui of the new interior design is very barbecue-ish in a non-traditional BAR-B-Q way, and the smoked quail is really really good.

The one tree in Francie's yard was neither a pine nor a hemlock. It had pointed leaves which grew along green switches which radiated from the bough and made a tree which looked like a lot of opened green umbrellas. Some people called it the Tree of Heaven. No matter where its seed fell, it made a tree which struggled to reach the sky. It grew in boarded-up lots and out of neglected rubbish heaps and it was the only tree that grew out of cement. It grew lushly, but only in the tenement districts.

Saw this walking toward my office this morning...

I altered this photograph so that it resembles a Hubble deep field mosaic of a planetary nebula. In fact, it's an oily puddle of water. The 'stars' are actually reflections of the our own sun on wet asphalt.

Here's to you Dr Andy ;)

I'm on a visual Pun Jag tonight

aka how to drive footprint free

aka better than a hybrid hypermiling

Sorry the background rather obscures, but in order to drive Gore-free, two trees were planted in the back of this truck. They're even apple trees, so they will feed us and the entire village too no doubt.

Holiday lights at the botanic garden.

When I saw that FGR was taking on the Half a Face Is Better Than a Whole One group, I knew exactly what I would do.

Available at "Long Play," our solo exhibition at the Scion A/V Installation retail space.

Opening on March 16, 2013. RSVP here. Show will be up through April 6, 2013.

A pun is a play on words and a visual pun is . . . ?

"Angus, why is it, do you suppose, that they call us terrible lizards"

"I don't know Alphonse, but in your case I suspect its because of those awful puns."

My mom got me this shirt at shirts.woot.com. There are few things in life I enjoy more than a visual pun.

It's a bad habit.

I killed Tony, Lucky Charms, and the silly rabbit.

You have no idea how many times I breathed these bloody feathers in, this was so not a good idea.
