Drawn from memory the next day. Made with the Paper app by 53 on iPad.

First page in my tiny art journal, and it only took a tiny amount of time :) Also, is that not the cutest clothespin?!?

Loving the texture that came out here!

There is a story behind every page.

Original Bliss - The Path of Job

I do not know where I am finding the courage to finally try new techniques and use up supplies I've had stored away for years but I am loving expressing myself in this way. I love Suzibluetube's videos on Youtube and having read Visual Chronicles recently (and other art books too) certainly has spurred me on. I'm finding art cathartic on this journey to heal myself, express myself and really learn about who I am and what I want.

A Thirsty Fish

I don't get tired of you.

Don't grow weary of being

compassionate toward me!

I have a thirsty fish in me

that can never find enough

of what it's thirsty for!

This was my Mother's Day card.

A page in my Visual Journal.

I carved the rubber stamp of Jim Morrison.

I used up scraps of paper from my cutting up atcs and inchies from a piece of water coloring my Mum sent to me. I added acrylic paints and lettering in white gel pen. Such a fun thing to do with scraps.

I did these pages as we were driving on the 401, relax, I wasn't driving!!! I've had these gel effects markers from Crayola for years and finally got around to using them. I love the effects on the black paper. I also used some metallic colored pencils too.

Sometimes there's only enough time for a fish sketch :)

An experimental page with masking from Dina Wakley's 102 art journal class.
