Today's page was made using scraps of paper I had lying around, yes, I usually have joss paper in my house, magazine cut out and a vintage photo I bought last week.

p.8 Our first day out alone—got to try out my Bangla-speaking skills. Got too excited ordering mishti. We meet Sandip. Taking a taxi where the driver needs to hot-wire it every time he turns the engine off at a light. Sealdah train station is awash in people.
p.9 A long train, our sleeper car is all the way at the end.
An art journal page that I did with my sister when she came to visit me. She made a page for her room mate, and I just used this one to demonstrate the technique that I was teaching her. :)
The photo is all wrinkly though!! ;o;

Hayden and I played around with my Chinese calligraphy brushes and ink so I decided to use it in my journal. I colored with water colors.

Sie: HERGGOTTNOCHMAL, dann bleiben Sie doch zuhause, wenn Sie so eine Angst haben! Und dann noch in Ihrem Alter!" Er antwortete: "Ich bin systemrelevant! Auf mich können Sie nicht verzichten!" Ich wünschte, ein paar mehr Frauen würde mit solch einem Selbstbewusstsein auf ihre Systemrelevanz hinweisen.

Especially at your age!" He replied: "I am systemically relevant! You can't do without me!" I wish a few more women would point out their systemic relevance with such self-confidence.
