I was ready for a new journal for a new year. (Plus, my last one was just a few pages from being full.) So I decided to make a new one from scratch and I'm very happy with how it turned out. It's 8" x 10" and I filled it with various paper: watercolor paper, paper from a braille bible, resin paper (used in construction), and pages from an old kid's book. The rubber stamps I used on it are all hand-carved except for the alphabet. I LOVE the binding I did!
210110: The other day while shopping, I approached a woman who was balancing her food. I asked her why she was doing this, and she replied that it would help her identify foods that were not good for her. She had me tested, and I was amazed at first that the pendulum actually reacted differently to unhealthy foods than to healthy ones. Still, I don't think such a pendulum will work until it recognizes my favorite colors when I'm blindfolded and let the pendulum circle over them.
Because purple went so well with the motif (esotericism and all!) this is also my entry for the #whitecanvas21 challenge by @apfelhase and @friederikeablang (#purpleprospect)
