2010 Moleskine
There is a story behind every page.
For the blog post about this page visit:
Background with strips of masking tape, gesso, and acrylic paints scraped on with an old gift card. Image was cut from an Anthro catalog and then the page was used as a mask. Black acrylic ink pounced through the mask, and white signo pen used to draw highlights. Words from the daily OM stamped on and then journaling with a sharpie pen.

200229: Last weekend we went for a walk in Schilksee and were asked by an old lady to have a look at the little boat on the water - if we could see if there was anyone in it? Unfortunately we could not, it was too far away. Another walker ran back to his car, got binoculars, looked through it and immediately called the police. In the meantime, the crew of the "Nordica" tried to get the man who was in distress on board, but could not pull him aboard. The @Seenotretter came a short time later, took care of the hypothermic fisherman and handed him over to the emergency doctor and rescue service in the port of Strande. What luck this man had! I hope he will show his gratitude with a big donation to the sea rescuers.

This is a set of 5 over-sized postcards of some of my visual journal pages. Each glossy postcard represents a journal spread, and is 8.5" x 5.5". The printing quality is so good, you can read my writing and feel what I was feeling when I created the journal page. Keep it for yourself for art inspiration, or mail it. The back is blank, except for my information, so you can write a note and address it.
