My third session at the dentist... (we planned 8-10 sessions in january). I'm so happy that I changed the dentist, because my last dentist, Dr. Garlichs in Kiel, disregarded three carious teeth and many many exposed dental necks. Instead of this he wanted to renew my front teeth (saw the dollar signs in his eyes) and wanted me to extract a healthy tooth.

I'm so glad that I've been sceptical against Dr. Garlich's method of treatment and that I changed the dentist. I'm really really happy now with my new dentist.

The same procedure as every year. Which journal shall I choose for next year?...

The Moleskine's and the CoolDiary's paper are lousy for ink and nib pens. (Look at the details). The Hobnichi Techo is great for ink an nib pens, but not for watercolors used with much water. Yes, I know. I'm searching for the jack of all trades device.

This is a journal page that I did tonight. It helped me decide what my next "30 Days" is going to be. Check my blog 6/30 for more info. www.TraciBunkers.com/blog

Hate this tyre change, even if I don't so it by myself. Wonder why tyres are always black?

A page in my A6 notebook using a sketch Teesha Moore style. Blogged about here:

Being an American and being so despondent over the past 8 years of horrible leadership of our country, the inauguration of Barack Obama as our President was a very emotional day for me. This is my art journal page about the day and the historical event.

Like someone of you know I'm rather unhappy with the Moleskine's paper reduction in quality in the last years. I'm using the Pocket diary since 2001, but this year I decided to change. The paper has become a too poor quality now.

I made some tests with other notebooks and calendar books, but it was hard for me to decide where I should lay my focus on for my basis of decisionmaking.

At least I decided which criterias are important for me: I want a calendar, one page for each day, black cover, A6. The calendar print shouldn't be too obstrusive and the paper's quality should be better than the actual moleskine's paper quality.

Now I decided to use a teNeues Cool Diary from the next year on. I've had some good years with my Moleskines, but now it's time to separate. We'll see if the Cool Diary and I will make a good match.

I also flirted with the Letts Lecassa, but the lines in the calendar are too black.
