This young Tiger decided to explore a little close to the house. After some modelling I moved him a little. These blokes have very toxic venom but they don't want to harm people and this one was 300mm or so long.
MIT Visiting Artist and alumnus Jamshied Sharifi brought his unique compositional talent to MIT in the spring of 2012 as composer-in-residence from March 12-17. Sharifi’s residency included the world premiere of Awakening, written for the MIT Wind Ensemble, and a panel with MIT students that recognizes and honors the Arab Spring.

On March 13, Jamshied Sharifi, Philip Khoury, Obaidah Abuhashem and Emily Jackson participated in an interdisciplinary panel titled Awakening the Arab Spring in Killian Hall.
The March 17 concert program for Awakening: A World Premiere by Jamshied Sharifi, included Bernard, Divertissement for Winds; Copland, Variations on a Shaker Melody; Schuman, When Jesus Wept; Bernstein, Profanation from Symphony no. 1; and the world premiere of Sharifi's piece, Awakening, performed by the MIT Wind Ensemble: Frederick Harris, Jr., Music Director, Kenneth Amis, Assistant Conductor and Jamshied Sharifi, Composer-in-Residence.

Kris Ruckman of Eau Claire visited her 97-year-old dad Bob Anderson at River Pines in Altoona on March 17, 2020. Ruckman made signs with messages for her dad to read because using a phone is difficult because of his poor hearing. She hasn't visited her dad in person for a couple weeks with the social distancing in place because of COVID-19.

Shichi-go-san (the seven-five-three festival) is a traditional Japanese event to celebrate children's growth and pray for their future health and well-being.
Parents with boys of five, girls of seven and either boys or girls of three dress their children in best clothes and take them to shrines where they pray for their children's future.
Generally, girls put on beautiful Kimono, but my daughter was in the suit.
She will have commemorative pictures of her in Kimono taken at photo studios.

Made up of Lost Tribe founder Adam Rogers on guitar (Michael Brecker, Chris Potter, Norah Jones, Joe Jackson, Cassandra Wilson, Paul Simon) Rudder founder Henry Hey on keyboards (Jeff “Tain” Watts, Joe Locke, Chris Botti, Bill Bruford, Seamus Blake, David Bowie, Empire of the Sun), Snarky Puppy founder and Grammy Award-winner Michael League on bass (Kirk Franklin, Wayne Krantz/Ari Hoenig Quartet, Lalah Hathaway), and Jason “JT” Thomas on drums (Roy Hargrove’s RH Factor, Marcus Miller, D’Angelo), Forq is an all-star ensemble of sorts - but with the spirit and cohesiveness of a garage band.
