As the sun goes down for the last time in 2018, the shadows getting bigger, creating beautiful spots on the rocks of Magnificent Trishul peaks.
~~ seen from Gwaldham, Uttarakhand just 39 kms north west of Kausani, Begeshwar.
~~ Gwaldham is the place to view Trishul
~~ Kasauni for the whole range

In the beaches of the north-est of Brazil you can find natural pools that form when the tide is low. During this time you can go with your camera without any problems and try to shoot as closer as possible to the water. This is just a shot with a different perspective and trying to capture that brown and blue colours during sunset.

Da var nordlyssesongen 2015-2016 i gang. Rundt midnatt var jeg ute og sjekket, før jeg gikk i seng, og oppdaget av noen var på gang. Fikk ikke tid til å dra ut og tok bildene fra hustaket mitt. Et flott og klart nordlys som varte en god stund.
The Aurora season 2015-2016 has started. Beautiful and strong Aurora last night. Visible and very clear for a long time over my home community Sjoevegan. This is a promising start on the Aurora season.
Sunrise on Constitution Marsh just south of Cold Spring, NY.
No wind, calm waters, and mirror-like reflections. I love mornings like these. I'll be exploring this area more frequently with the new 13.6 pack boat from Swift Canoe and Kayak based out of Ontario, Canada. It should open up some pretty exciting opportunities for wildlife photography and unique perspectives during the summer months.

The topic of this week is #lowkey photography and I had few sunflowers at home to play with. This one was done with a flash behind the flower with a 1/32 power. Then the camera speed set high enough to get the background completely dark.

Every station shows different designs and structures. This one is Mayakovskaya. Considered to be one of the most beautiful in the system, it is a fine example of pre-World War II Stalinist Architecture and one of the most famous Metro stations in the world. The name as well as the design is a reference to Futurism and its prominent Russian exponent Vladimir Mayakovsky. (wikipedia).
I love the art deco columns and I had to tweak a lot with white balances until I got the correct colour.

This is the first of many to be captured by my new Nikon D750!. Stepping up the game now and going into full frame. I'm sure there will be loads to learn but I'm sure I'll master it soon enough. This is my cat, Barrymore when he was a young kitty. Barrymore had the most beautiful light blue eyes, which now that he's old, have clouded to a more yellowish hue. I am so glad that I took lots of photos of those eyes of his when he was young since I can't see them the same anymore. He's still a pretty boy, but at nearly 16, Barrymore is winding down. I will always remember him with these beautiful bright eyes, though!
