Every station shows different designs and structures. This one is Mayakovskaya. Considered to be one of the most beautiful in the system, it is a fine example of pre-World War II Stalinist Architecture and one of the most famous Metro stations in the world. The name as well as the design is a reference to Futurism and its prominent Russian exponent Vladimir Mayakovsky. (wikipedia).
I love the art deco columns and I had to tweak a lot with white balances until I got the correct colour.

This is the first of many to be captured by my new Nikon D750!. Stepping up the game now and going into full frame. I'm sure there will be loads to learn but I'm sure I'll master it soon enough. It's all about the eye of the photographer and not the gear, but with this one I won't miss any important stuff. I hope you like it.

Riomaggiore (Rimazùu in the local Ligurian language) is a village and comune in the province of La Spezia, situated in a small valley in the Liguria region of Italy. It is the first of the Cinque Terre one meets when travelling north from La Spezia.

This is favorite in my series When the Soul Speaks, a collection of emotive conceptual B&W child imagery. This particular image pays homage to Longfellow's legendary poem of the same title.

As the sun goes down for the last time in 2018, the shadows getting bigger, creating beautiful spots on the rocks of Magnificent Trishul peaks.

Toujours la suite de ce circuit des cascades que j'affectionne avec ce magnifique spot à côté de St Claude. Je suis au 2ème jour et ce matin là le thermomètre était largement en dessous de 0°C. J'ai commencé la balade vers le cirque au lever du jour, à la frontale. Après quelques shoots histoire de se dégourdir les doigts, le soleil a enfin montrer le bout de son nez sur le haut de la falaise offrant un contraste entre le bas et le haut de l'image. Le débit de l'eau n'était malheureusement pas très haut et du coup le mouvement de l'eau était assez plat. Mais en photo on se contente de ce que la Nature nous offre.

I love street shots and Moscow city is just great for it. Just wandering and snapping around allows you to get a feel to the city. The city is surrounded by history and with many things to observe.

Nature is amazing, so perfect. Always surprising us, you just need to be there and observe. I managed to take this picture with my 35mm F1.8, handheld and with natural light, to get the correct sharpness of the web and the desired bokeh I was after. I hope you like the results.

N'hésitez pas à agrandir la photo pour voir les détails.
A l'origine parti pour faire des photos de la cascade des tufs de Baume les Messieurs, et suite à une erreur de GPS... je me retrouve à la cascade des tufs de Planche près Arbois. Fortement décu en me garant sur le parking puisque je ne reconnais pas l'endroit, je décide quand même d'aller voir la cascade. Et là... grande surprise, un spectale à couper le souffle, une rivière tumultueuse, une cascade magnifique surtout avec toute la pluie qu'il tombe actuellement. Je pensais y rester 10 minutes, mais j'y suis resté l'après midi...
Cette photo illustre justement cette magnifique rivière. Et pour la petite histoire, je prenais mes photos en pose longue à cet endroit et un couple de photographe m'a vu faire. Ils ont bien attendu 15-20 min pour que je libère l'endroit afin de s'y placer également. Je ne les avais pas vu, mais ca fait plaisir de voir que quelqu'un est prêt à attendre aussi longtemps pour tenter de faire la même photo que vous ;-)

Today Kristy, Charity, and I went to see the movie "Lucy" then went out to a local farm here in Skagit County called Snow Goose Produce Market. Kristy was craving bubble gum ice cream for a while and they had just what she needed.
The bokeh in this shot reminds me of a watercolor painting.

Gorumara National Park is located in Dooars. It lies in the Himalayan foothills and has great natural beauty. The park is located on the bank of rivers Murti and Raidak and has vegetation of riverine grasslands interspersed with savannah woodlands. Much of the forest is moist deciduous. Sal (shorea robusta) is the most common and valuable tree. Teak, simul, siris, khair are also found here.
Gorumara was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1949 and a National Park in 1992.

While taking few pictures when we were going down the escalator in London Bridge, I found this gem in my take. A guy giving me the thumbs up while trying to capture the picture. I couldn't see him well as I was just focusing on the people in front of me, but I was lucky to capture the moment.
