Early birds get the worm says the saying. We were early in the Staten Island Ferry and I just waited there for someone to go through while no one was sat. It's a very strong image with some nice sliding lines with your eyes following the passenger. Nice catch!

Impressions of India – 37

Continuing my series on India, here is a succession of doorways leading to the door to sleeping quarters in the Ahichhatragarh Fort (Fort Of The Hooded Cobra), in Nagaur, Rajasthan.

This Fort was originally built by the Nagavanshi clan but rebuilt in the 12th century by the Ghaznis to include palaces and mosques. Over time it gained a distinct Rajput-Mughal architectural design as gardens, temples and fountains were added.

A tranquil morning on the Hudson River from the Little Stony Point view in Cold Spring, NY.

The extreme heat of the past few days has created interesting weather patterns and excellent conditions for Landscape Photography. This is an image from yesterday morning at dawn when the first light rays of the day combined with a storm front moving through, creating a beautiful mix of warm and cool tones. A few minutes later conditions changed again as the color faded and fog rolled into the scene.
