Did not really like the look of the copper cap I made for this the first time. Did one from alloy and drilled it for some air flow.

Vent time

I no longer feel attractive. I've been thinking about this a lot. In the past, although I had MANY insecurities, if someone were to ask me if I knew I was beautiful, the answer would be yes. Although I didn't always feel beautiful, I always knew that other people found me attractive, and that I was an attractive girl. Factually.

Now i don't feel I am at all. Whatsoever. When I look in the mirror, a pretty girl doesn't look back. I don't remember the last time I genuinely felt beautiful.

This year has been hard on me. I've never felt so close to giving up. Because everything has happened one thing after the other, my relationship has also suffered greatly. I feel my SO, has lost a great amount of respect for me, because I've been jobless so long. I honestly don't think he finds me attractive any longer, either. I think He would like me to work my ass off until I am as stressed and worn out as he. He loves hard working, motivated and ambitious females. I have been none of those things. My goal in life isn't to live up to his expectations, obviously. But knowing he doesn't find me attractive,(he'd never say it) also makes me find myself even less attractive. I've stopped trying with makeup or clothes. What used to be me in lingerie, and pretty dresses, is now me in sweats. The energy to shower is difficult to come by.

I have always said I had little respect for women who sit on their asses all day and do nothing. It's ugly. And he's stood by me through it. But he often reminds me I'm not doing enough. Not ever. Never enough. My sex life is non existent and the idea of romance is laughable. A few days ago was our 5 year anniversary and I don't think we even talked to each other.

2016 has tried to kill me.

I lost my job, my dogs BOTH died. (Yes 2 of them) I had to give up my passion due to lack of money. I've developed an anxiety disorder that makes driving difficult and dangerous for me. I've had to move back in with my mom which is something I always said I'd never do. I now have a concussion which is ruining any plans, goals and ambitions I DID have. I start working out and GAINED weight. I'm basically planning on my s.o leaving me because that would simply be the icing on the cake for 2016.

I'm REALLY strugging to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not trying to whine, or be a victim but the election has me worried whether on not we'll even be around to see 2017.

The pale-vented pigeon (Patagioenas cayennensis) is a large pigeon (family Columbidae) found in the tropical Americas. Formerly often placed in Columba, it actually belongs to a clade of the older New World genus Patagioenas. With its relatives it represents an evolutionary radiation extending through most of the warm-temperate to tropical Americas. Grey-hued birds, even their males generally lack iridescent display plumage, although the present species has some coppery gloss on the nape.[2]

It is a resident breeder from southern Mexico south to Bolivia and northern Argentina and on Tobago and Trinidad, although it is very localised on the latter island. Vagrants are occasionally seen in adjacent regions; for example, the species is noted to stray into Uruguay from Argentina and occasionally from Brazil, but it has never been noted to breed or even maintain a permanent presence in the former country. The pale-vented pigeon is 30–32 cm long and weighs normally 230–250 g. Adult males have a mainly dull purple head, breast and upperpart plumage, with copper glossing on the nape and a whitish throat. The lower back and tail are dark grey and the lower underparts are pale grey. The bill is black and the legs, iris and eyering are red. The female is similar, but duller than the male, and immatures are greyish-brown, very dull, and mainly greyish brown.

The southern subspecies P. c. andersoni has white lower underparts, rather than the pale grey of nominate P. c. cayennensis.

The call is a row of soft kuk kuk croo-ooos; the initial short kuk is characteristic for the "cayennensis group" of Patagioenas. Altogether, this species' song is intermediate between that of its close relatives the plain (P. inornata) and red-billed pigeons (P. flavirostris).[2][7]

It may in the field resemble a scaled pigeon (P. speciosa), which has a similar display flight. These two large species are also the only pigeons in their range which are often seen flying in the open away from forests. But of course P. cayennensis lacks the scaly appearance, and the calls[7] and appearance from close by indicate that the two are not particularly close relatives among their congeners.

Taken during a helicopter flight from Hilo airport on the East coast of Big Island, Hawaii. This helicopter flight was run by Paradise Copters and we went for the "doors off" extreme flight over the top of the active Pu'u O'o volcanic vent/crater, which had plenty of lava on show for us bubbling away in the crater, and flowing out in a lava river a little lower down one of the crater flanks.

At historic RAF Ventnor - a radar station established in 1937 to warn of German aircraft and flying bombs approaching across the channel. The station played an important part in the Battle of Britain and Ventnor was heavily bombed in 1940. The site is now used by National Air Traffic Services to communicate with civil aviation.

A new fragrance from the Italian niche perfumery Bois 1920 . Luckyscent's staff described this fragrance as "the hushed feel of an isolated forest, with sun and shadow flickering through the canopy of green leaves and a lush carpet of velvet moss".

Oh well, smelling this fragrance (vento= wind, fiori=flower) is like entering a forest indeed- though i can't just smell the fresh green air but I can also detect the smell of rotting leaves or is it just the fragrance turning sour on my skin? lols. There's also a strong herbal/medicinal note in the drydown which I don't really mind, and yeah, the bottle design is gorgeous. (A gift from the wifey, well sort of,lol).

OK i'm a bit odd. I just sort of liked these vents in the A/C system at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

A hydrothermal vent is a fissure in a planet's surface from which geothermally heated water issues. Hydrothermal vents are commonly found near volcanically active places, areas where tectonic plates are moving apart, ocean basins, and hotspots. Hydrothermal vents exist because the earth is both geologically active and has large amounts of water on its surface and within its crust. Common land types include hot springs, fumaroles and geysers. Under the sea, hydrothermal vents may form features called black smokers. Relative to the majority of the deep sea, the areas around submarine hydrothermal vents are biologically more productive, often hosting complex communities fueled by the chemicals dissolved in the vent fluids. Chemosynthetic bacteria and archaea form the base of the food chain, supporting diverse organisms, including giant tube worms, clams, limpets and shrimp. Active hydrothermal vents are believed to exist on Jupiter's moon Europa, and ancient hydrothermal vents have been speculated to exist on Mars.

This is a bird of dry scrub, open forest, plains and cultivated lands. In its native range it is rarely found in mature forests. Red-vented bulbuls were introduced to Fiji around 1903 by indentured labourers from India
