Yellow vented bulbul. Not sure if this was the papa or mama. They were busy feeding their young. I found the young bulbul three days ago in the bushes in my front yard. I put the cold and wet young bulbul in a basket and took him/her out the following day. The parents came and guided the young to the ixora bush, where he/she has been for the past 2 days.

Shot with a borrowed 150-500mm at 500mm. Cropped quite a lot.

Per questo devo tornare

a tanti luoghi futuri

per incontrarmi con me stesso

ed esaminarmi senza sosta,

senz'altro testimone che la luna

e poi fischiare di gioia

calpestando pietre e zolle,

senz'altro compito che esistere,

senz'altra famiglia che la strada.

Being the up n at em party type that I am I thought I would head out into my home town with hours to go before the new year and take some pictures of vents and other inanimate objects :)

Party on!

Jardin Botanico El Charco del Ingenio, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. The background bird was much yellower than the foreground bird, but both are black-vented orioles.

At Dover Street (Green Park) there is a vent shaft where you can see daylight at the top!

Al vent,

la cara al vent,

el cor al vent,

les mans al vent,

al vent del mon.

I tots,

tots plens de nit,

buscant la llum,

buscant la pau,

buscant a dèu,

al vent del mon.

Al viento,

la cara al viento,

el corazón al viento,

al viento del mundo.

Y todos,

todos llenos de noche,

buscando la luz,

buscando la paz,

buscando a dios,

al viento del mundo.
