Yellow vented bulbul. Not sure if this was the papa or mama. They were busy feeding their young. I found the young bulbul three days ago in the bushes in my front yard. I put the cold and wet young bulbul in a basket and took him/her out the following day. The parents came and guided the young to the ixora bush, where he/she has been for the past 2 days.
Shot with a borrowed 150-500mm at 500mm. Cropped quite a lot.

Party on!
My recent video was an exercise in visualisation and composition. I hope you'll give it a watch (if you haven't already) youtu.be/e_W_y95jSfM
This was one the images. It didn't work as a normal B&W and I was on the verge of scrapping it when, just for fun, I converted it to a negative B&W and now I quite like it. Vents on the top of storage buildings in the fishing area of the port of El Campello, Spain

With three ventilators on top and several missing roof panels, this abandoned grain bin is very well vented.
Jardin Botanico El Charco del Ingenio, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. The background bird was much yellower than the foreground bird, but both are black-vented orioles.

After my more expressive paintings, I wanted to go back to what I have really loved in the past, mono printing, and vent these feelings but in a restricted way.
I monoprinted an eye in blue, black, purple, and red ink, to add a more tonal base as opposed to an outline. I then used India ink to paint (still quite expressively) onto the canvas, allowing it to bleed.
Both this, and the next painting are done in the same medium, and are both around A1 in size.
