Vorrei imparare dal vento a respirare, dalla pioggia a cadere, dalla corrente a portare le cose dove non vogliono andare e avere la pazienza delle onde di andare e venire, ricominciare a fluire.
Un aereo passa veloce e io mi fermo a pensare a tutti quelli che partono, scappano o sono sospesi per giorni, mesi, anni in cui ti senti come uno che si è perso tra obbiettivi ogni volta più grandi.
Succede perché in un instante tutto il resto diventa invisibile, privo di senso e irraggiungibile per me, succede perché fingo che va sempre tutto bene ma non lo penso in fondo.
Torneremo ad avere più tempo e a camminare per le strade che abbiamo scelto, che a volte fanno male, per avere la pazienza delle onde di andare e venire, e non riesci a capire.
Succede perché in un instante tutto il resto diventa invisibile, privo di senso e irraggiungibile per me, succede anche se il vento porta tutto via con se, vivendo e ricominciare a fluire…

I'm not sure about you but today sees the start of my holiday season. Oh yes! And so just in case some of you are rushing off for the holiday period, I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for making this year a very, very special one for me.
Over the last twelve month I have not only discovered a joy for photography, I've also 'met' many wonderful new friends. We have laughed together, teased each other, shared private thoughts, helped and coached each other - and this is all the more amazing when I think that this time last year I hadn't come across any of you!
Anyway, I'll shut up now except to say thank you once again and to wish you all a peaceful and restful time.
(Whoops, I nearly forgot to mention that this is an abstracted view of Vent, a street-level structure near Paternoster Square in the City of London, that serves as the ventilation shaft for an underground electricity sub station - and, to me, today, looks like a Christmas Tree! :)

C'est amusant de lire ce soir, après toutes mes publications du weekend que "le nom « anémone » vient du mot « fleur du vent » en grec. Selon la mythologie grecque, l'anémone naquit des larmes d'Aphrodite alors que celle-ci pleurait la mort d'Adonis.
On pense qu'elle porte chance et qu'elle protège du mal, et la légende dit que quand l'anémone se ferme, c'est un signal qu'il va pleuvoir.
D'autres mythes encore lient l'anémone aux fées, dont on raconte qu'elles dormaient sous ses pétales fermés après le coucher du soleil. C'est peut-être à cause de ces contes magiques et prophétiques que les anémones représentent aujourd'hui l'anticipation dans le langage des fleurs"

The red-vented bulbul (Pycnonotus cafer) is a member of the bulbul family of passerines. It is resident breeder across the Indian subcontinent, including Sri Lanka extending east to Burma and parts of Tibet. It has been introduced in many other parts of the world and has established itself in the wild on several Pacific islands including Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, and Hawaii.
