.Grandstand, pit stop and VIP centrepiece, David Chipperfield's America's Cup Pavilion was constructed under extreme time pressure and is now the jewel in the crown of Valencia's ingenious new urban marina: Port America’s Cup. A homage to the speed and elegance of ocean racing with sharp edges and dramatic light and shade.The city invested 500m euros in the infrastructure: the innermost basin of the docks was separated from the container port by an newly built channel, connecting it to the sea. The port is only 3000 meter from the city centre. The architect: “ the brief was to build something exciting where people could congregate to watch the racing. So the idea of using the building to create shaded platforms was important. It has to be place where you can stand outside as much as inside. You’re here to look out at sea and that’s where I put the emphasis. You’re continuously aware of the long view to the sea and on the other side the view into the port.”

Bristol MW6G 64GUO after conversion from Royal Blue coach spec. to dual purpose use, and renumbered to 2922. the date given for this acquired shot is 26th August 1975. The Bristol SU site has her repainted in local coach green and white in 1974, in which case they must have been short of white, compared to her sister behind. No location given, but I would hazard a guess at Minehead for this one. (at-4632f)
Wikipedia: The yellow-vented bulbul (Pycnonotus goiavier), or eastern yellow-vented bulbul, is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is resident breeder in southeastern Asia from Indochina to the Philippines. It is found in a wide variety of open habitats, but not deep forest. It is one of the most common birds in cultivated areas. They appear to be nomadic, roaming from place to place regularly.
