Attached to this photo was a bio, which I believe was written by Howard Otway...

Florence Otway a graduate of Cooper Union, began her career as a designer with I. Miller and Sons. She has designed for may leading shoe manufacturers in Europe and this country.

Several years ago, Mrs. Otway retired to her Westchester Country home to "have two boy babies and can acres of home grown vegitables". Much as she loves creative cooking and basic motherhood, she continued to make fashion headlines with her designs for the yearly shows given by leading leather houses and fashion services.

In 1964 she returned to the City life and full time activity designing shoes. She was appointed head designer for the Carlisle Shoe Company last March.

Florence Otway is married to Howard Otway, the author and theatrical producer who recently completed building Theatre 80 St. Marks Place, where the new musical review "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" opens this month.

Although the Otways are both New Yorkers, they met and were married in California.

Khlong Toey Fresh Market. Everything seems to be available here, nothing goes to waste. Vegitables, seafood, chicken, eggs, frogs, turtles, eels, spices, etc. It's a market for locals. I didn't see a single foreigner during my walk.

I coocked them above with oyster sauce and black bean sauce

Jennifer (Jen's Photography) and I went into Chicago to shoot at one of the farmers market in Lincoln Park on Saturday.

I found these beautiful bread baskets on the table of Bennisons Bakery, which was very busy that day. The bakery uses brick ovens for their baking and the people were really loading up. I just had to wait for the right moment to get my shot.

Shot in 35mm black and white film and processed. It an amazing experience to shoot the picture and develop it on your own. Printing is even more fun. Have a series of images.

....shot on a kodaikanal road side .... fresh carrots were being sold along with their stems .... color represents freshness...

I just liked the feel of the market stalls. Reminded me that I saw not in Kansas.
