Khlong Toey Fresh Market. Everything seems to be available here, nothing goes to waste. Vegitables, seafood, chicken, eggs, frogs, turtles, eels, spices, etc. It's a market for locals. I didn't see a single foreigner during my walk.
Went shopping today for stuff to cook and they had a bunch of fruit so I picked up some along with the veggies to cook with the Jamaican Jerk Chicken, also got stuff for chili.

gyoza means chinese dumpling. Dumplings served in this shop contains more vegitables (tiny sliced chinese cabbage). Sweat tastes from dumplings makes dumplings strong originality, compared with other shop. Price of dumpling is higher than other shop. As a snack for alcahole, those are healty from the point of calorie intake.
Overall 6/10

Darling apple quiltie that I received from Krookedmumma for the April 2009 Anything Goes STUD swap.
Awesome vegitable backing fabric.
I am building this fence to keep my dogs out of our vegitable garden. As I have gone along, I am finding that I have less funds to do my projects with. This has forced me to become more thrifty. This wood is from someone who had a need to get rid of it. It was originally a porch. With a little elbow grease and some time I was able to get most of the rot off and down to good quality wood.
This also shows my old mailbox that no longer functioned as a mailbox after my mother in law ran over it. I turned it into a bird house we have a family of robins living in it.

our vegetable garden, in order to cope with the slope and run of our yard we decided to go with a container garden. note the two containers made from lowes buckets, they have been adapted with a false bottom to be a self watering container for plants.
A bunch of IDEO'ers put together a IHOD - International House of Dumplings - meal featuring dumplings from around the world: Spain (shrimp empanadas and chicken empanadas), Poland (potato & onion pierogies and mushroom & sauerkraut pierogies), Italy (cheese ravioli), Korea (kimchi dumplings), China (pork & shrimp pot stickers), India (vegitable samosas) & USA (hot pockets).
It was excellent.
