miso soup, today with abura-age(sliced & fried tofu) and komatsuna (a spinach-like vegitable). i was planning to unify all gdp photos in almost same composition, but i already gave up.
The other day I decided I would do some smoking and grilling. I went to the store and bought a whole chicken and a couple of peaches. When I got home I fired up the grill and got the chicken ready. After just over 1 hour I had a beautiful Maple smoked, grilled, peach stuffed chicken. I used peach sauce (peach and maple syrup) for basting, hence the orange red color. Jen was quite happy when she came home and had 1/2 of a chicken waiting for her.
Jennifer "Jen's Photography" and I went into Chicago to shoot Christmas Shopping pictures. Yes, it was a cold and rainy day but we did get some good pictures.
This was shot at the Metra Station (Ogilvie Transportation Center). I think I gained 15 pounds just shooting this shot...

Graellada de marisc. Snacks for white wine. Although I used Aioli, I paid attension to calory control. So I used codfish. Codfish's calory is relativery lower than other fish like sardin or mackerel, yellowtail. And I added much vegitables like parsley and coocked pimiento.

Every weekend during the summer months the parking lot across from the county court house is reserved for the "Farmers Market" where area farmers, craftsmen, and other entrepreneurs sell their wares.

Pentax K10D, 10-17mm Fisheye, Nodal Ninja 3. 7 shots (5 vertical pan, 1 zenith, and 1 nadir). An 8th hand-held shot was used to patch the mounted nadir shot.
Okay, strange lights in this one, and I have no idea where they came or where they went. Was not using a flash or wearing reflective clothing. The orange light looks the strangest to me as it looks like a double exposure but I know thats not the case or even possible without altering the image. This was SOOC. Note the little dust particles on my sensor that needs cleaning. lol

Grandmas Hawain Carrot Cake.
1 1/2 cups cooking oil ( wesson)
2 cups shuger
5 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoon backing powder.
1 teaspoon backing soda.
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
Hand full coconut.
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups grated carrot ( I always add a little more)
1 cups crushed pineapple
1/2 cup walnuts
Beat oil and sugar in large bowl. Beat in eggs 1 at a time, beating after each addition sift together dry ingredients add with vanilla, carrots, pineapple and nuts to sugar mixture. 14x10 inch pan bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

My maple syrup production is almost over for this year and it has been one of the best I've ever had. From 9 taps in 5 trees I have harvested 51+ gallons (830 cups) of sap and produced 1.94 gallons of syrup. I was able to get the taps in to harvest the super sweet early sap which really helped in the sap to syrup ratio. Yes, I still have the spiles out but the sap run is very slow.
I probably will pull them late next week.
I ate this at the Nick's kitchen. Some thick bacon, soft camembert (maybe) and flesh rockets. Before I order this, I asked him what was 'rocket', then he shown and explained about the vegitable for me. Nick was a nice guy (I'm not sure the man I talked to was Nick or not, but I called him Nick in my mind.)
Wet, soggy, misty, morning at Moreton-n-Marsh. Moreton-in-Marsh is a small market town in the Evenlode Valley, within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Gloucestershire, England.
The town stands at the crossroads of the Fosse Way Roman road (now the A429) and the A44. It is served by Moreton-in-Marsh railway station on the Cotswold Line. It is relatively flat and low-lying compared with the surrounding Cotswold Hills. The River Evenlode rises near Batsford, runs around the edge of Moreton and meanders towards Oxford, where it flows into the Thames just east of Eynsham.
Just over 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Moreton, the Four shire stone marked the boundary of the historic counties of Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire, until the re-organisation of the county boundaries in 1931.
