A cancer diet includes a rainbow of vegetables for a balance of nutrients and phytochemicals.

Diesem Radieschen aus eigener Ernte war beim Wachsen wohl ein Stein im Weg. Es schmeckt trotzdem.

This radish from our garden had a stone in its way. Nevertheless it is tasty.

My favorite shelf in the grocery.

My brother-in-law requested this cake for my sister-in-law's birthday. He wanted a farm cake with chickens, a goat, and dogs (border collies specifically). Everything is edible: fudge sticks for railroad ties, pretzels for the fence, vanilla wafers for the stepping stones, crushed graham crackers for the path, and crushed chocolate teddy grahams for the dirt in the beds. All other decorations are fondant and gum paste. Vines and flowers are buttercream. The cake is dark chocolate mayonnaise cake with vanilla buttercream.

Just mixed (store bought) roasted-red-pepper tapenade with the pasta and tossed in stir fried veggies with a bit of olive oil and garlic flavored oil.

More tiny vegetables: eggplants/aubergines, in this case, about four inches long, give or take. Cute, and rather tasty, too.

Cucumber, carrots, black olives, ham roll-ups, broccoli, grape tomatoes, pickles, celery, purple cauliflower, red globe grapes, and green seedless grapes.

Found this at a Korean Supermarket. They knead the greentea powder into the fresh Potato Noodles, so not only does it look pretty, they smell soooo- good!! I cooked some Porkloin, with Corn and Kimchee. Perfect Summer meal!

fresh produce every weekend

A single day's haul from our vegetable garden, labeled for my dad in Germany. I have to admit that I'm running out of ideas of what to do with these. There is only so much cucumber salad one can eat.....I might have to reconsider putting in more raised beds for next year.
