Last weekend Lego Monster and I spent some time building cars over at his place. These are the ones I built. His are in his photostream
This shot offers a glimpse of the truck's inside. You can just about see the ends of two pieces of flex tube. The SWAT letters are attached to these using various types of clips -the first time I used that technique to make letters. It worked out well and is far easier than using headlight bricks and whatnot.
Zo'n lok van de reeks 19 heeft maar aan één kant een GF-koppeling en aan de andere kant een gewone koppeling. Dit is de kant zonder GF-koppeling.

1000 colours are ordered in one cube. This system is based on three coloured printing inks—representing the basic colours of yellow, cyan-blue and magenta-red which have been selected with particular care. A 10-part series of colours has been produced by appropriate insertion of the divisions of a grid and runs from the basic colour through to white in a series of gradations which are perceived as being almost equal.
The colour-cube was published in 1952.

Het Anna van Burenplein is nu zo goed als af. De fontein doet het, er is een grote "foodhall" gekomen naast het gebouw van de Leidse Universiteit. Alleen jammer dat praktisch alle winkels uit New Babylon leeg staan.
Marina's aren't hard to find in Malta;indeed they were locally assembled.
I didn't see any Ital saloons,although I'm sure they'd be there.
I did see several Ital vans like this.
I found this beside Marsa park and ride.There's a trotting track here too;hence the horse in the background.
Trotting is a very popular sport in the islands,both as a participant and spectator sport.
The badge on the van shows the owner is a trotting enthusiast;these are to be seen on many vehicles.
