Two of the final High-Rises left in Cabrini-Green. The highrises actually are the "Green" portion of the name.
Utopia - a multicultural folkloric music spectacular on three stepped stages flowing over the Victoria Square fountain. Part of the International Dance Festival Birmingham, it features Russian, Spanish, Indian, African and folk dance.

Am 26. August waren wir zu Besuch bei "Flucht nach Utopia" von Metaversa e.V. an der Nürtingen Grundschule Berlin. Zu früh aus dem Cryo-Schlaf geweckt, mussten 23 Schüler und Schülerinnen aus unterschiedlichen Klassenstufen versuchen ihr Raumschiff zu reparieren. Dazu galt es Roboter zu porgrammieren um an im Raum versteckte Codes zu gelangen. Letztlich musste gemeinsam über den zukünftigen Reiseweg und Robotergesetze entschieden werden.

Searching for Utopia, created by Belgian artist Jan Fabre, is a three-meter-tall sculpture nestled between residential buildings along the Belgian coast.
Fabre created an enormous sea turtle based on bronze.
On top of the animal he depicted himself as a kind of rider.
The artist emphasizes the fact that man continues to search for Utopia throughout his life.
Close to the beach in the coastal town of Nieuwpoort, Belgium stands a shining sculpture of a sea turtle with a rider holding a set of reins while sitting atop the tremendous turtle's shell.
The three-meter (10-foot) tall sculpture is called Searching for Utopia.
The tortoise often appears in legends about the origin of the world.
In some Asian cultures, the tortoise is also a symbol of the world in ancient myths, the flat bottom of the shell is the earth's crust and the convex top represents the heavens.
In this way, the animal unites heaven and earth in itself.
In other stories, the tortoise is the foundation of the world, it carries the earth.
This imposing sculpture, also known as Jan Fabre's Turtle, was placed in Nieuwpoort during the first edition of the Beaufort art triennial in 2003.
Because of the many positive reactions the city of Nieuwpoort decided to purchase the work of art.
