Utopia is an imaginary place inhabited by an ideal society who enjoy complete social and political harmony. Utopia translates to both “good place” and “no place”, and this imagined model of perfection can inspire us to envision, design, and transform the world we live in every day. In this session, students will dream wildly, envision their own Utopias, and become the change they wish to see in the world. The course will explore the concept of Utopia through various forms of creative communication, ranging from printmaking and music to installation and portable architecture.

This is an "aerial" image of part of Second Life. As you can see, it's a total dump. There seem be no urban planners in the digital utopia.

Painted sign in Florence, Italy pointing out the direction to Utopia. Unfortunately it was getting late so I ended up not going there. Probably a mistake.

Flipped north road bars, shorty stem (could be shorter). Might need gears. Max slightly prefered the mtb levers over the drop levers, so I used these. They were originally from the Bontrager.

I'd really like to put a headlight under the crown.

Todos los días trato de hacer algo que me de miedo, por muy tonto que parezca. Así, todos los días descubro nuevas experiencias; cada día voy siendo más libre.

Today is my birthday, this photo is dedicated to all my friends.

Who knew Utopia could be found in a T-shirt? This is definitely one of the funkier T-shirt shops in town.

I went back to Victoria's Bastion Square to catch a long exposure night shot. The square's pretty busy on a Friday night, so I had to be patient to catch a shot without people in it.

The bulk of the lighting is provided by harsh yellow street lamps, which rob the square of its normal range of colours. So, I opted to process this shot as a split tone, using hues that I sampled from the original photo.

Eliminating gum and bird poop took forever, I'm not eager to shoot here again.
