Am 26. August waren wir zu Besuch bei "Flucht nach Utopia" von Metaversa e.V. an der Nürtingen Grundschule Berlin. Zu früh aus dem Cryo-Schlaf geweckt, mussten 23 Schüler und Schülerinnen aus unterschiedlichen Klassenstufen versuchen ihr Raumschiff zu reparieren. Dazu galt es Roboter zu porgrammieren um an im Raum versteckte Codes zu gelangen. Letztlich musste gemeinsam über den zukünftigen Reiseweg und Robotergesetze entschieden werden.

The building has been painted with the entire text of Utopia by Thomas More, by local artist Rory Macbeth. It is shortly to be demolished.

Artist Rory Macbeth painted the words of the entire novel “Utopia” by Sir Thomas More, on the old Eastern Electricity building off Westwick Street in Norwich. The artwork was completed during 2006 and was only expected to be there a year as the building was earmarked for demolition. The building is still very much standing in 2012, and I for one am really pleased about that, as it adds something special to the city in my opinion. Great piece of artwork.

L’Utopia del potere monetario sta gradualmente sostituendo l’Utopia del bene sociale. L’Utopia è in vendita?
La mostra, omaggio ad Allan Sekula, vede esposti, oltre ai lavori dell’artista scomparso pochi mesi fa, opere video e installazioni ma anche disegni, fotografie di siti e paesaggi industriali.

I love LEGO but sometimes there's little things in their designs that irk me. This is the #Pagani #Utopia. Very smooth but there were two ugly bumps on either side. I replaced a couple of parts and now it's looking good.

Topi has been with me almost from the very beginning. She was my first dream stock Blythe back when I started collecting. I still remember the feeling I had when I finally found a Samedi Marche. At the time, the Encore version hadn't yet been released, so having Utopia with me felt extra special.
Nowadays, Utopia doesn't get a lot of attention. She sits on my shelves with a few of my other neglected Blythes. And ever since Braille's arrival, I can't help but be even less attached to Topi. For some reason, I don't like having two Blythes with the same color hair-- I always choose a favorite and then the other one rarely gets attention. I'm wondering if Topi will eventually find a new home, along with some of my other girls... I could definitely use the money and the space. *sigh*
I'll have to mull it over some more.
