I'm working on building my skillset in producing better moods within photohoshop, so I started using the Orton technique along with other skin toning techniques to produce a dreamier portrait.

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech used a 15-0 start to beat San Jose State 71-64 Thursday at the Thomas Assembly Center.
The Bulldogs improved to 19-4 overall and 7-2 in the Western Athletic Conference and are tied in first place. The Spartans fell to 12-9 overall and 5-3 in the WAC.
"We got off to a great start and brought great defensive focus and great defensive energy," head coach Kerry Rupp said. "That set the tone for the entire game and we just tried to sustain that for 40 minutes. On offense, we tried to make sure that we got a quality possession every time down the court."
Senior Magnum Rolle led Tech with 21 points and added five rebounds and four blocks. He was 8-for-14 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free throw line. Senior Kyle Gibson scored 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting.
"We really focused on getting the ball inside and the game plan worked," Rupp said.
Senior Jamel Guyton did a little bit of everything as he had nine points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals. Junior Olu Ashaolu had nine points on 4-of-9 shooting and eight rebounds.
Senior David Jackson played 22 minutes off the bench and scored eight points including a wild 32-foot heave to beat the shot clock.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 15-0 lead, their largest of the game, as the Spartans were held without a field goal for the first 7:58. SJSU tightened the Bulldog lead to just eight points at halftime, 34-26.
The second half, like the first, was all LA Tech as they never trailed and kept at least a three-point lead throughout.
Tech shot 45.8 percent (27-of-59) from the field for the game and SJSU shot 42.4 percent (25-of-59).
A big reason San Jose State beat Tech in their first meeting of the season was Spartan guard Adrian Oliver who scored a career-high 39 points. This time the junior was held to a team-high 22 points with Gibson guarding him the majority of the game.
SJSU was hurt by 17 turnovers to just eight assists while Tech dished out 16 assists and had 14 turnovers.
The Bulldogs will next play at New Mexico State on Monday at 8 p.m. CT in a game broadcast on ESPN Regional.
Breakfast Tian
A tian is a layered dish, usually using food presentation rings. This is just a different way of serving the usual breakfast ingredients.
Serves 2
Syn Free on Extra Easy
2 potatoes
a little salt and pepper
100g minced pork
½ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sage
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp sweetener
¼ tsp white pepper
a little milk
2 gammon steaks
2 tomatoes
a few mushrooms
2 eggs
tin of baked beans to serve
Peel the potatoes and grate them using the finest part of your grates. Squeeze out as much of the liquid as you can and mix with the salt and pepper. Using a food ring, make two circular shapes, spray with Fry Light and bake in the oven at 200°C until cooked through and browned and crispy on top.
In a food processor, combine the pork, spices and a little milk from your allowance (or water), ca 1-2 tablespoons. Using the same food rings, shape into circular patties and bake in the oven at 200°C until cooked through.
Using the food rings as cutters, shape the gammon steaks into round disks (save the cut-offs for use in something else) and grill for a few minutes each side until cooked through.
De-seed the tomatoes and chop finely. Heat some Fry Light in a pan and gently cook the tomatoes for a couple of minutes until heated through but not too soft.
Finely chop the mushrooms and cook in Fry Light until cooked to your liking.
Fry the eggs with the food rings to create perfectly round eggs.
Assemble the tian with the potato hash in the bottom, then the gammon, sausage patties, the mushrooms and tomatoes, and finally the egg on top. Serve with the baked beans.

I used Google maps extensively when planning our USA/Canada trip. Now I have started planning my stay in Spain. Will stay 2 weeks in Malaga. The other 2 weeks I don't quite know where to go. I would like to see as much as possible - take lots of photos and visit schools, do some writing.
Using a hammer to square up the bricks. Unusual hammer with a rectangular head. He seems to have a chisel also. That table has had many years of use.
When using a changing bag, be sure that your film is inside the processing tank before opening! For this roll, I left the reel outside the tank and it was momentarily flashed with dim evening light.
The exposed sprocket bleedthrough adds an interesting physicality to this photograph that reminds oneself of the tangibility of film. I love it.

We used these chain link aviaries provided by Ringling when it was thought that it was made from aluminum (ok to use as long as it isn’t damaged from the elements) and then one of our adopted parrots chewed on it and got metal toxicity poisoning letting us know that it was galvanized metal (toxic if parrots eat it). Many places use galvanized metal for aviaries and provide enough enrichment that parrots don’t chew on it but if they do they can die from this poisoning. Our parrot recovered but we never used these aviaries again.

ODC things used to communicate
Wrens, sparrows, flickers, red bellied woodpeckers, cardinals and more are fighting for rights to the snow covered pile of corn, sunflower & suet I set out for them. Unfortunately i didn't set myself up with a good vantage point to take their pictures. I guess I'll have to rethink that. My poor planning really came to light when I found a red shouldered hawk eyeing the birds as his next meal. Then the dilemma foil his plans and save a birds or let nature take it's course and watch and try to catch it on film (SD card). : )
