A Unicorn’s tail
In a world where twin red suns never fell,
Some wicked souls only did darkness now dwell.
Here, as a white unicorn took a drink from a murmuring brook,
Was still cause for a refined Lady to halt for a closer look.
She stood on a ancient crossing bridge, amazed with childlike delight,
While the suns rays played with her many expensive gems flashing bright.
Lost in trouble-free contemplation, she never heard his steps soft tread.
When a hand bumped along her arm, she gasped and the unicorn fled.
A handsome man begged the lady for forgiveness as he plucked her puffy sleeve,
His eyes locked in hers meekly, needless to say the lady was also a little naïve.
She unquestioningly gave him pardon, then listened to him with a trusting thrill,
As he serenely spoke, his eyes watched drolly, as hers widened with a chill.
She unquestioningly accepted his offer to accompany her with a sense of relief,
Since he had also pointed out that her finery may well invite a roguish thief.
Traveling down the path, he let her depart within sight of the castle common gateway,
Taking leave, He watched smugly, her finely frocked figure moved with a flattering sway.
Follow our story now to a dragon, who went for a walk this fine morn,
Although a bane wing had it feeling sad and self pityingly forlorn.
Being unable to fly made him unusually feeling totally out of retorts,
He had to actually scrounge on the ground for food, he had no other resorts.
Suddenly his mood was quite drastically changed,
It’s eye’s grew painfully wide, his nostrils flamed.
A piercing sting made him wince and tear,
Something’s sharp horn been had into stabbed his rear.
He whipped his scaly head to see who would have dared,
Be so flagrantly bold as to nail him back there.
Stood a recently napping unicorn, on whose silken tail he had tranced,
Wide eyes steaming fury, she shot at him a piercing glance.
A seconds thought, she may have been hasty,
Its not hard to make a fire breathing dragon nasty.
She flew out onto an old stone path in a mocking retreat,
The Dragons breath hot upon her silvery hoofed feet.
Through the country side the two antagonists did race,
Both of them thoroughly enjoying the venting chase.
Quite a whirlwind along their course the pair did make,
Autumn trees, leaves, and small creatures all churning in their wake.
Over an old mossy bridge, leading down to pair of distant castle gates,
The pair scurried across, hesitantly chasing unchallenged fates.
As across the bridge, claws scrapped, hooves clattered,
Two figures hidden beneath, had their content rest shattered.
A troll and his captive male both looked up outside,
An unbelievable sight, greeted their drowsy eyes.
The troll grinned evilly to the man, I must go and see what comes of this,
Your soul is mine, now do my bid, he said to him with a wicked little hiss.
Entering its captives peaceful soul, his face turning grim,
The troll became like a gentleman, its body now slim.
Leaving the bridge, stealing away into the twin suns hot light,
It’s narrow mind’s desire, to profit from the Unicorn’s plight.
Flexing it’s now long fingers, nimble and quick,
Their touch now feather light, unfeeling and slick.
With a heartless grin, the troll pursued the wonderful sight,
Determined to find profit from the duo’s unwarranted flight.
Now, inside the gates, spread on the Castle lawn, a party progressed,
Lords and appealing ladies having a fancy tea, all very elegantly dressed.
Suddenly a Unicorn and Dragon broke through the gates running unchecked,
Not an invited occurrence, the nobles stared as their festivity was wrecked.
As the Unicorn and Dragon bolted along the common, transgressing,
Tempers swelled, far from a peaceful tea, the gentry were digressing.
Bright gowns swirled as the court ladies tried to maneuver with dread,
Their vivid jewels glistened like pinpricks of flames, as from the assault they fled.
Into this mix, a man darted without his normal conscience or emotion,
His reluctant soul obeying what it knew was the Troll’s evil notion.
With a roving eye, he carefully observed the interrupted morning soiree.
Making sure the crowd was preoccupied so no action could betray.
A pony tailed, spoiled young lass from a nearby grandly rich estate,
Had retreated up a wall as the pair of miscreants crashed the castle gate.
A pleasant looking man offered her a hand, as he saw her in passing,
With her nose in the air, she granted his request, without even thanking for asking.
Two steady hands gripped her squirming, slippery silk clad waist,
He helped her down, apologizing that he had messed up her attire all laced.
He gallantly held up her long tress, as she grippingly bowed, straightening her dress,
Whilst her long fiery earrings momentarily touched against his thumping chest.
A lady clad in a fancy white ruffled gown with a glossy black sheen,
Had possessions knocked to the ground, as the mob rushed from the scene.
A kind appearing man, came from behind, as picking up her purse she leaned.
Generously offered to retrieve it for you miss, grinned this cleverly disguised fiend.
Valiantly he helped her straighten, watching her diamonds dangle and blaze
With a quick flourish he retrieved the strayed belongings, receiving her praise
Your much to pretty, to get yourself dirty, he said enchantingly, watching her turn flush,
While never guessing that her sparkly dripping broach had been stroked by his touch.
Following the same patterns, the Troll worked the crowd, looking debonair,
The chosen Maiden’s eyes would usually widen, as he apologized with a contrite stare
The noble Ladies smiled sweetly, showing him forgiveness towards his intrude,
Basking in the Man‘s kind gaze as their hands were kissed, hoping not to appear rude.
His plan worked to perfection, in minutes a half dozen were soon relieved,
With every venture, shiny baubles fell into his pocket from down his sleeve.
None missed their appealing trinkets being snatched away with stylish flair,
Since most of the crowds focus was still on the intruding, pursuing pair.
A maid dressed in long satin wearing a costly ring all sapphired and pearling,
Was next on Trolls list, moving closer, it’s long fingers uncurling.
Something came rattling through the gate, his victim turned, swirling,
Cornered, he watched with her, a golden carriage with banners twirling.
A princess from a neighboring kingdom appeared upon the scene,
Looking like a beautiful angel in an fantastic fairy tales dream.
Wonderfully fey eyes, golden hair framing a beguiling face,
To the party she had traveled, arriving in style and modest grace.
From a window she looked out, like royalty from a throne,
Her silky hair entwined with pearls down her back had flown,
This exposed her fine throat, around which was all was aglow,
Rubies and diamonds rippled like prisms, a thick shimmering rainbow.
Amazed, the princess watched the dragon in hot pursuit,
Fearing for the Unicorn, she disembarked, frozen quite mute.
A long satin gown softly fell into a rustling pool about her feet,
Producing a sight assured to increase a normal man’s heart beat.
She sent the carriage driver, Devon of Costner’s Mill, to aid the party all in disarray,
Watching him depart, the princess innocently, thought, I wonder if I should stay.
Then the roaring Dragon and the panting Unicorn came bearing quickly down,
As from behind the Castle the clashing adversaries came back running round.
As the pair trampled close, the princess turned and whirled,
Jewels shot out in glitter, as about her the slinky gown curled.
From forehead, to ears and fingers , danced colorful rays of light,
As princess’s go, she was really, quite a most hypnotizing sight.
Back through the trampled gates, the Dragon and Unicorn flew,
The crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief, as it followed to get a better view.
Meanwhile, the embarrassed the Princess straightened her thin tiara back in place,
Blushing, she looked up, while nervously sweeping a strand of hair from her face.
Then she jumped as without warning, a figure jostled against her hips,
The princess faced a man with a debonair smile who watched her questioning lips.
Taking her wrist, he kissed the back of her gloved hand with an extravagant finesse,
He massaged ringed fingers with generous care, while complementing her fine dress.
With shy embarrassment, she moved, proposing to break his grip,
Her garment catching on a foot, she stumbled onto the path with a trip.
She fell against him, feeling his steady hands upon her gown so smooth,
The princess looked away, never even feeling his finger’s nudging move.
As he bent down and started to tickle her ear with a deft whisper,
Her emotions rose, as she clutched her breast, trying not to shiver.
He stroked her hair attentively, making her face attractively flush,
As she surprisingly found enjoyment through his calmingly tender touch.
Along her silky figure, he expertly massaged quite nimbly,
The princess’s entire being trembled, beginning to feel tingly.
Losing her demur, she began to squirm and merrily wriggled,
His pretentious actions were rewarded as twisting, she quivered and giggled.
Expertly his fingers worked her over , without ever missing a beat,
When he was quite finished, gazed into her eyes, masking his deceit.
Watching dew like tears of laughter glistening on her cheeks reddening bright,
But for the pearls in her hair, nothing else shiny would come to his roving sight.
She felt lighter than air, her blurred feelings never revealing,
That more than her gentle heart this man had been stealing,
As she looked into his face, he answered with a mesmerizing jesters grin,
She smiled meekly back, not yet aware of the disguised troll’s cruel sin.
Ironically hoping that he was the one to lightened her of stress,
She regained her composure, trying to keep her emotions in suppress
Felling no guilt , the man asked for his leave with a stately request
Disappointed, the princess bade him farewell, still flush from his caress.
Before disappearing into the crowd watching at the gate, he blew her a kiss,
As she caught it in her gloved hands, noticed something terribly amiss.
Stripped fingers, she gasped, placed a hand upon her forehead to ponder,
The diamond tiara had also gone astray, her heart plummeted in wonder.
She realized that with him had gone all that shimmered, rubies and gold,
She now felt incomplete, bared totally by actions audaciously bold.
Not realizing how pointless were the feelings making her depressed,
For no sparkly baubles could ever match the real beauty she possessed.
Sadly she climbed into the carriage feeling used and utterly betrayed,
Thoughtfully stroking the place where her necklace had so recently laid.
Had she seen a trace of regret deep within his eyes, possibly coming from his heart,
Maybe he would return all that had been stolen, and apologize for his thieving part.
Her eyes eagerly scanned the crowd , as she missed her pretty belongings,
But only two small figures in a tree stood out, as the princess felt her longings.
When her driver returned, she bade him drive away in a voice all forlorn,
As she vainly rechecked the areas where her jewels had been recently shorn.
Wanting to see a dragon, two young sisters had climbed an old elm to get a look,
The younger , watching a robin, caught her fine string of pearls on a branches crook.
Her view blocked, she complained to her older sister with a droning call,
While untangling her expensive necklace whined, why couldn’t we have climbed a wall.
The older sibling looked sullenly over, a sapphire pendent hanging down,
Its much too high, and you are way too small, she scolded with a mean frown.
Spying a handsome man walking near bye, the 9 year old called to help out,
Startled at the sight of two satin dolled youths, he smiled winningly into her facial pout.
I‘ll help you ladies out, he purred with a smile that would give no cause for alarms,
The man happily stepped underneath and quite willingly extended his eager arms,
The sisters scampered away, the motion of their remaining trinkets anything but calm,
Drooling , he lifted them up to the wall , swaying jewelry pleasingly tickled along his palm.
Meanwhile the unicorn was growing weary of this game,
Her hooves were becoming singed from the dragons licking flame.
She dove deep inside a brambly thicket, regretting the provoked attack,
Her golden mane was becoming entangled, as she warily looked back.
The dragon tried to follow, not wishing to find other routes,
But the prickling of sharp thorns, made him soon seek other pursuits.
Shaking his head with a final snort of anger, smoke furling,
Gave up the days chase, his performance and pride sterling.
As the dragon ambled back past the broken gates, he didn’t dwell,
For some reason a crowd was throwing stones at him with an angry yell.
As most of the nobles entered into the steam letting fray,
One man did not, he warily slipped most carefully away.
The troll went to the bridge, carrying his loot and scurrying fast,
A Princess’s ruby and diamond necklace held within it‘s hot grasp.
The evil troll regained his true form, scrambling into the lair,
Giving back to the man his soul, as the troll smugly sat on its chair.
As a wide grin spread across its evil face, through pockets it sifted,
The Troll laid on the table all the flickering trinkets it had lifted.
Eyeing the bracelets, rings and broaches that had been rudely acquired
The man ruefully watched, his soul burning at what had transpired.
While the troll drooled over a ring with decked pearls and sapphires galore,
The necklace fell unnoticed, into a glittering heap on the stone floor,
The man in a willful move, decided to write the trolls final chapter,
Snatched the gems from the beneath the chair of his shocked captor,
The twinkling necklace the man disdainfully held aloft.
Dangling it in front of the trolls face, into which he scoffed.
Scurrying from its seat, still holding the pretty ring,
Pure evil was the look that animating from this terrible being.
The troll licked its lips, its eye wide with hunger,
Held out a sharp claw trying to retrieve its plunder.
The man stood his ground, he now held the fee,
Release my soul he commanded, let my soul be free.
Now, not far away, by a meadow of emerald green,
The magic broken only by a sparkling stream.
To this safe haven came a princess somewhat distressed,
Just needed some time alone to muse and find some rest.
The glittery gems which the princess’s had been carefully adorned,
Had vanished together, leaving the pretty Lady bewildered and forlorn.
From the very bosom of her being , came a wistfully heartfelt moan,
A look crossed over her pretty face, wishing a certain person to turn into stone.
Leaving her carriage, she bade the driver to please take leave,
As he drove hesitantly away, tears welled in her eyes, she wanted to grieve
Upon a moss covered log she sat, to ponder with very a fetching frown,
The swishing gown falling about her, like fresh gold snow upon the ground.
Suddenly, there was a surprised snort coming from quite close by,
Startled, the princess looked up, meeting a unicorns wise green eye.
The poor thing was worn, sore from gold tail to white head,
As it approached the beckoning Princess, neither felt any dread.
Meanwhile, the dragon, now parched, hearing the tinkle of a brook,
Ambled over to a bridge, from where a long drink he took.
Aware that his stomach rumbled for food that was not,
His sharp eyes scanned the area, while pondering it’s lot.
The man saw the dragons shadow, knew what it could portend,
Smiling shrewdly to himself, finally it may all come to an end.
Looking down at the troll who displaying unyielding refusal,
Never to release the man’s soul, believing he had control as usual.
But the man knew what must be done, he suddenly flicked his wrist,
Sent the trinket flying, outside through the brooks ghostly mist.
With a cry of triumph, the troll scrambled out into suns bright rays,
Watching the necklace as it fell shimmering to the ground in the haze.
Snatching up the jeweled prize with its crooked claws,
A shadow over its head , froze the troll in pause.
The look crossing the trolls face was best described as dim,
As it looked up into the red eyes of destiny bearing down upon him.
The thing of beauty the troll held, unable to honestly appreciate,
Was forever lost, as the Dragon’s jaws, eagerly engulfed and ate.
The man watching in awe, feeling his freed soul filled with pleasure,
While the dragon then ambled off, stomach full of troll and treasure.
The man hurried back to the village, to correct the troll’s sin fed acts,
To return the jewels to their rightful place, to set straight the facts.
His polite apologies the astonished ladies accepted with gracious curiosity,
As he returned all of their missing crystals, explaining the troll’s atrocity.
The man returned to every victim but one, that the troll had cheated,
He was missing the Princess, to have his obligated pilgrimage completed.
Leaving the grateful ladies of the court , he set off on his quest.
Finally finding the place where she had alighted to acquire some rest.
He watched in awe, the princess, as she was singing sweet,
A magical unicorn laying peacefully, docile at her feet.
She had carefully combed out the white mane, braided in her pearls,
Her hair now hung tantalizingly free, laid on her shoulder in swirls.
The long satin gown on the green grass around her was spread,
In her shiny lap lay sublimely, the sleeping unicorns white head.
She had been stroking its horn, her touch sensitively feeling,
What she read with enlightenment there, was strangely revealing.
It told her that a knightly hero she would soon meet,
Someone noble, who would come and sweep her off her feet.
But the same man who had taken her dazzling trinkets appeared in her trance,
She found herself once again in his grasp, but in an incredibly romantic dance.
Pondering the puzzle, she sensed a cautious approach from behind,
Turning her head, her eyes took in the familiar man now genuinely kind.
He was shyly holding out the radiant tiara, along with rings for her fingers and ears,
Recovering back something thought forever lost, She smiled through her tears.
The unicorn opened a knowing eye, saw something totally real,
At last, it felt, that the princess’s wounded heart would finally heal.
As his tender hand brushed the hair from the Princess‘s eyes,
Both she and the unicorn let escape, deeply soul filled sighs.
As the Princess looked up, she saw a fate sincere,
The face she now saw, had known would someday appear.
Someone to give back to her something that had been taken,
Something wonderful and bright that she had all but forsaken.
Taking the baubles she smiled, her eyes taking on a calm grace,
Placed a hand to her throat, sweetly asking about her necks lace,
He explained about how the dragon had, troll and jewels ate,
The unicorn smiled, thinking of his adversaries stomach ache.
The princess asked him to track and slay the dragon, please,
But instead, the man took her hands, dropping sincerely to his knees,
He explained that there was a gift more precious than diamond or gold,
Then into her tingling hands he placed his total heart and soul to hold.
Like two hearts beating in rhythm, the sound not always clear,
He gave her all he had to offer, hoping his love could adhere,
No prettier rhapsody ever existed, now or forever,
Than the music that now played, bringing the two of them together.
She had accepted his proposal with little hesitation,
No princess is ever sure of love’s final destination.
But in the end, she had finally joyously confessed,
His devotion was more precious than any jewel possessed
In a world were two suns will always shine bright,
Where Unicorns play and Dragons roar with might,
A world always filled with color, sparkle and life,
Where ones dreams and hopes come with little strife.
In this world, as in ours, where a beautiful princess named Joan,
Finally found a love worthy enough to give up her unintended throne.
Her prince would come from an enchanted place, no fortune told could reveal,
A whimsically reality, where the heart of a princess is all that he would steal.
Now, this is the end of our story, for those who have read it through,
But not the end of the tale, for like a ring of gold it always starts anew.
Destinies of bad meeting evil, Pure finding good will always entail,
Sometimes all it takes is a clumsy Dragon, and a Unicorns sensitive tale.

In Kyiv, emergency restoration works are ongoing at the sites affected by yesterday’s attack. All search and rescue operations have already been completed. Unfortunately, as of now, 31 people have been confirmed dead, including 5 children. The youngest was just two years old. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. 159 people have been injured, including 16 children. All of them are currently receiving the necessary medical assistance. I am grateful to the rescuers, police officers, doctors, nurses, utility workers — everyone who is helping people right now. This is truly vital.
Once again, this vile strike by Russia demonstrates the need for increased pressure on Moscow and additional sanctions. No matter how much the Kremlin denies their effectiveness, sanctions do work – and they must be strengthened. They must target everything that enables such attacks to continue. It is also crucial that the world does not remain silent about them. I thank everyone who has supported our people. We value the fact that President Trump, European leaders, and other partners clearly see what is happening and condemn Russia.
In July alone, Russia used over 5,100 glide bombs against Ukraine, more than 3,800 “shaheds,” and nearly 260 missiles of various types – 128 of them ballistic. This can only be stopped through joint efforts – by America, Europe, and other global actors. Every engagement matters. Every day matters. I thank everyone who is helping Ukraine.
This loop line was used to turn around empty stock workings from the main railway station in Ankara. With the construction of the new station, the addition of extra running lines east of the station and the move towards 'fast train' units, the line has been rendered superfluous to use.

3rd international solo trip.
Itinerary: Chennai to Singapore (transit - If you have B1/B2 visa you can get single entry to Singapore without transit or tourist visa) , Singapore - > Guangzhou , Guangzhou - Yangshou (high-speed bullet train - use ctrip.com for booking tickets) , Yangshuo - Fenghuang (Guilin-Fenghuang bus 6 hours), Fenghuang - Zhangjiajie (bus 4 hours) - Zhangjiajie - Guangzhou-Singapore-Chennai-Bangalore Return flight)
Unlike other trips, this one was super expensive. Bad planning as well. If you are having a proper meal or dinner from a good hotel in Zhangjiajie or Guangzhou, it will cost you around 180Yuan minimum. That is 1800Rs :P. Water is cheap. Entry passes to most of the national park are expensive (spent around 17,000 (1700RMB) on it)). Ordering food in a Chinese restaurant is a nightmare. I had to show my dance and acting skills to show what kind of curry i want. Ordered chicken curry, but the whole chicken was sleeping inside the curry. Got its head and feet. I think I had dog once, but tasted like mutton..so I did not investigate too much about it. I was ordering food based on the fonts they have used in the menu card. If I like some font, I will order that :).
Climate was too cold everywhere (min 2 degree and max 15 degree). I was carrying thermals and had to wear it almost 7 days because asking for laundry service in my hotel is another pain. It is very difficult to find people who speak English here. Most of the places were covered with fog. I did not see a single Indian anywhere. Saw only 4 tourists during the entire trip (off season). But lot of Chinese tourists everywhere. They love beard and I was part of at least 20 selfies with the Chinese throughout out the trip. Chinese people are really good, sweet, hard working. I will add more details here later.
Chinese infrastructure is massive!!. We cannot compare it with any other cities in the world. I have been to New York and San Francisco and I have not seen such big machinery and bridges and elevators anywhere.!!! Apart from food, I love everything about China.

Mevlana Dergahı (Dervish Lodge) which is presently used as a museum formerly the Rose Garden of the Seljuks Palace it was given as a gift to Mevlana's father Sultanü'l-Ulema Bahaaeddin Veled by Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad
When Sultanü'l-Ulema died on 12 January 1231, he was buried in the present grave which is in the mausoleum. This was the first burial ever to take place in the Rose Garden.
After the death of Sultanü'l-Ulema, his friends and disciples approached Mevlana and expressed their wish to build a maussoleum over his grave. Mevlana refused this request remarking "How could there be a better mausoleum than the sky itself?).However when he died on 17 December 1273, his son Sultan Veled accepted the request of those who wanted to build a maussoleum over Mevlana's grave. The mausoleum called "Kubbe-i Hadra" (Green mausoleum) was built by the architect Bedrettin from Tebriz for 130.000 Seljuk dirhem (currency) on four elephant feet (thick columns). After this date, the construction activities never ceased and continued in stages up to the end of the 19th century.
Mevlevi Derhgahı (Dervish Lodge) and the mausoleum started to function as a museum in 1926 under the name of Konya Museum of Historical Works. In 1954 the display pattern of the museum was once more taken up and it was renamed as the Mevlevi Museum.
While the Museum originally covered an area of 6.500m² together with its garden, with the section expropriated later and designed as a rose garden, it has today reached a size of 18.000m²
The courtyard of the museum is entered from "Dervişan Kapısı" (The gate of the Dervishes). There are dervish cells along the north and west sides of the courtyard. The south side, after Matbah and Hürrem Pasha Mausoleums, terminates with the gate of Hamuşan (Sealed Lips) which opens to Üçler cemetrey. On the eastern side of the courtyard there are mausoleums of Sinan Pasha, Fatma Hatun and Hasan Pasha, the Samahane (Ritual Prayer Hall) next to them and the small mosque (mesjidt) section and the main building where the graves of Mevlana and his family members are also housed.
The courtyard is given a special flavor with the roofed washing fountain (şadırvan) built by Sultan Yavuz Sultan Selim in 1512 and the "Şeb-i Arus" (means nuptial night or the night Mevlana passed away) pool and the fountain which is located in the northern part of the court and called Selsebil.
"Tilavet" Chamber (Quran Reading And Chanting)
"Tilavet" is an Arabic word which means reading the quran with a beautiful voice and the correct rhythm. The room takes its name from its function in the past. At present it is used as the Calligraphy Department.
The calligraphy section contains the framed works of famous calliagraphs of their time such as Mahmud Celaleddin, Mustafa Rakım, Hulusi, Yesarizade as well as a gilt relief frame done by Sultan Mahmut II. The couplet in Farsi engraved on the silver door with the calligraphy of Yesarizade Mustafa İzzet Efendi says:
Kabetü'l-uşşâk bâşed in mekam
Her ki nakıs amed incâ şod temam
(Let this be the Kaaba of the minstrels. Who ever enters here in half, finds himself whole)
Huzur-ı Pir (Mausoleum)
The hall of the mausoleum is entered from a silver door which was donated in 1599 by Hasan Pasha, who is the son of Sokollu Mehmet Pasha. Here, the oldest copies of the famous works of Mevlana the "Mesnevi" and "Divan-ı Kebir" are displayed in two glass fronted cabinets. The mausoleum hall is roofed with three small domes The third dome which is also called the skin dome joins, the green dome in the north.
The hall is bordered with a platform on its east, south and north sides. In the north where there is a two level platform, the sarcophagi of 6 Sacred horasan men are placed. Right at the feet of these, the Target Stone, made for İlhanlı King Ebu said Bahadır Khan.
There are also two framed inscriptions which are important as they reflect the thoughts and philosophy of Mevlana. The first frame is in Turkish and says:
"Either seem as you are
Or be as you seem"
Hz. Mevlâna
Second frame is a quatrain of Mevlana in Persian. In translation it reads:
"Come, Come who or whatever you are
Should you be an unbeliever, a Magian or a pagan still come
Our lodge is not a lodge of despair
With hundred repentions unheeded you may be,still, come"
Hz. Mevlana
On the high platform bordering the mausoleum hall on the east and south there are 55 graves, ten of which belong to ladies and the whole group belongs to the family members of Mevlana, and his father. There are ten other graves which belong to people such as Hüsameddin Çelebi, Selahaddin Zerkubi and Sheyh Kerimüddin who had reached high ranks in the sect of Mevlevi.
Right under the Green Dome there are the graves of Mevlana and his son Sultan Veled. The double hunched marble sarcophagus over the graves was donated in 1565 by Süleyman the Magnificent. The quilt embrodieried with gold thread placed over the sarcophagus is a Seljuk masterpiece and was made for Mevlana in 1274. When Süleyman the Magnificent had a new marble sarcophagus made over the graves of Mevlana and son, the original wood one was removed and put over the grave of Mevlana's father.
Semâ-Hâne (Ritual Hall)
The Semahane section together with the small mosque was built by Süleyman the Magnificent in the XVIth century. Semah ceromonies were continued at this ritual hall until 1926, when the Dergah (Dervish lodge) was converted to a museum. The Naat Pew in the Hall, the place where the musicians set (Mutrib cells) and the sections for men and women are preserved in their original state, while metal and glass objects and musical instruments of the Mevlevi are displayed in glassed cabinets and rugs of historical value are hung on appropriate walls of the Semahane.
Mosque
The small mosque or the mesjidt is entered from the Çerağ (apprentice) Gate. There are additional small entrances from the Semahane and the Huzur - Pir, the cemetrey. The place for the müezzin and the Mesnevihan Pew are kept in their original state.
Extremely valuable rug and wooden door samples are displayed on the south wall of the mosque and in 10 glassed cabinets put around this space, significant examples of binding, calligrapy and gilding are exhibited.
Rug And Fabric Section - Dervish Cells
There are 17 small cells, each with a small dome and chimney around the west and north sides of the front court of the Mevlana Lodge. These cells were built in 1584 by Sultan Murat III to house the dervishes.
Four cells to the right of the entrance gate are at present used as a ticket window and administration offices . The first two of the 13 cells to the left of the gate used as "Postnişin" and "Mesnevi-han" cells are kept in their origanal form and presented to the public.
The last two cells at the end are allocated to the very valuable book collections donated by Abdülbaki Gölpınarlı and Dr. Mehmed Önder, and they are used as a library.
The partition walls of the remaining 9 cells were removed providing two interconnected large corridors. In one of these corridors old rugs of historical value from regions famous for their rugs such as Kula, Gördes, Uşak and Kırşehir are displayed while the other has old rugs from districts of Konya such as Ladik, Karaman, Karapınar and Sille which are centres of rug weaving. Display windows built in the window and door sills of these cells display artefacts of Mevlevi ethnography such as "Pazarcı maşası", "Mütteka", "Nefir" which were transferred to the museum from the Lodge, and the extremely valuable Bursa fabrics from the museum collection
Matbah (Kitchen) Section
The kitchen is on the south west corner of the museum. It was built by Sultan Murat II in 1548. Until the lodge was converted to a museum in 1926 the meals were being provided from here.
This section was restored in 1990 and the display was rearranged with mannequins. Cooking, the basic function of the kitchen and the "somat" the special table routine is demonstrated with mannequins. Another such illustration was attempted, to show the other function of the kitchen which is related to the initiations of the novice, called "Nev-ni-yaz", and involves practice of Semah.

I know this was taken outside of this week, but I thought it shows a creative way to sit in a truck. For the Weekly Creative Kids. I wanted to join in the fun, even though I don't have a current one for the week. I understand that is OK if we took the picture and we keep it to the theme and do only one. I gave this an oil paint technique in ArcSoft2 or ArcSoft5, and did some adjustment of bright and contrast. This was taken probably back in October 2005; so she was only about 11 months old then. Now, she is 18 months old.
I noticed that sometimes Flickr puts the date I posted a picture when I had just worked on that picture to enhance or make it look painterly, and that is not the actual date I took the picture that I worked on. I'm thinking the original that I worked on (and made into the version you see here) was actually about October 2005.
BTW, My truck was a 2002 Chevy S-10- Pickup Truck, pretty blue, and I drove it off the show-room floor in October 2001, I still have it, and it is getting close to 20 years old. My granddaughter is super close to 16 as I type this paragraph on November 11, 2020

For Dave C. and other Flickr friends too, I think the *soul* of this picture is it makes people smile or laugh, it is my real truck and my real granddaughter. If it is too much cab of the truck and too much kid and not enough truck let me know and I'll post something different. I think the humor is worth a few points.

I used 1/4" stainless steel tubing and bent it to fit the bag. I used a 1/4" X 2" Hex SS standoff that I retapped the 8-32 holes to 5mm. All this I got from McMaster-Carr.
For the bag attachment I used 1/4" P-clamps, 1/4" tubing and and for the cross bar I used 3/16 tubing.
To attach it to the stem I used the Berthoud stem bracket I got from Boulder Cycles.
