Somewhat more robust than a P100.
A late model (for the UK at least) Peugeot 504 pick up.
Peugeot certainly got their money's worth out the 1968 launched 504 which carried parts from the 404. A saloon, coupe, cabriolet, estate, with several model differences, and of course the long lived truck we see here. An outside co even built 4x4 estates and pick ups.
Although 504 car production ended in 1983, having overlapped the 505, the pick up lived on until 1993 in Europe, and up to 2006 in Africa. The pick up was built in China until 2009 and even got a crew cab model built on a stretched estate platform.
Much of the 504 mechanicals carried over to the 505 too, also seeing service in the 604 and Tagora.
The diesel engines fitted to the 504 were used by quite a few other things too, notably the Granada MKII, Sierra, Tagora, Leyland Daf 400 and several more..
I can't remember the last time I saw one but I was pleased to see this still earning its keep..
Car almost done some minor stuff yet to do but you get the idea. Maintenance boys are out having a look.
The CORP 508 train that runs south from Eugene to Roseburg using UP power rounds the corner coming up on Dillard Road near Creswell, Oregon at MP 639. In addition to the SD70M at the point, two SD60Ms are in consist with the usual C44AC/GEVO combo pulling the usual string of empties.
This train often runs in the morning, so it was nice to catch it in the afternoon after shooting the northbound this morning.

I was at a Wedding Show on Sunday, strutting my stuff as one of the models. I was only supposed to keep the kilt on for the show, but I love it so keep it on for longer. Dressing up is fun, and also the FGR group choice of the day, which was nice.
Spent last weekend up in Quebec where the leaves are at peak. Sucky weather, but beautiful leaves and even better hospitality. Boston hasn't had a leaf turn and even in VT its a bit slow to turn.

After stopping at mile 97 awaiting a rule 509 to pass a stop signal at Zorra East, UP 3741 East is about to pass a restricting signal at Zorra West.
Had an urge to put my new 14-24 mm wide angle lens to work on an early, traffic-free Sunday morning. Blue crisp skies, - 7.5 C, a few tall buildings... I call this series "Falling Up"

I almost made it through the month of December without a train and 2015 without a patched SP C44AC. Luckily these coke mt's showed up, albeit at sundown. This guy was running on approaches from the MPRVP ahead.
It was late in the afternoon and a slight chill was in the air. Best to button up your "cycle clothes".

UP 4014 takes a nice and easy 3 mile an hour move over the switch at Bassett as a worker keeps a good eye on the wheels.

The unfortunate souls who chose to watch the steamer go across the Kate Shelley Bridge would have been disappointed to see a fast moving stacker heading east blocking the view that passed the overhead west of the bridge about a minute earlier.
I'm catching up with my Picture Winter prompts. The day after I took a photo of myself bundled up in my hat and scarf and used it for the texture prompt, Tracey assigned us to take a "bundled up" photo. I didn't want to do the same thing and have been trying to come up with something different. I don't love this, but I'm tired of being behind in the project, so I'm uploading it.
Here I am bundled up for de-icing my driveway -- warm boots and snow shoes. I'm wearing the snow shoes because they have crampons on the bottom. Without them, today, I wouldn't have been able to stand. I spent much of the day out there with these, salt, a spade (for cracking the ice), and a shovel. The good news is that my husband will be able to get the car up the driveway when he comes home from work. The top is still like an ice rink though -- I hope he can get from the car to the house without falling.
These are actually my daughters' snowshoes. They are smaller so better for me if I'm just dealing with ice. Mine are basic black and bigger so they support me better on the snow (I need the extra support).

Last looking up of the day, the Willis Building opposite the Lloyds building. The reflection of the Lloyds building is partly visible on the Willis Building.
I like that the two building are almost facing off to each with the street lamp standing uncomfortably in the middle :)

After obtaining instructions from the BNSF yardmaster to run through Gibson Yard, the special reverses up the BNSF Omaha Sub up to the connection back to the UP.
