The Fossil Falls is a unique geological feature, located in the Coso Range of California in the United States. Volcanic activity in the mountain range, along with meltwater from glaciers in the nearby Sierra Nevada, played a role in the creation of the falls. They are located near Little Lake, Inyo County, California, 1.0 mi (1.6 km) off US 395 (at a red cinder cone called "Red Hill") on Cinder Road
The red cinder cone visible to the north is the result of the violent ejection of trapped gases and molten material into the air from vent in the earth's crust. Cooling quickly when exposed to the air, the molten material formed a porous rock known as scoria, which built up around the original vent forming a cone-shaped hill.

The ship was open to the public to tour for the weekend and I wanted to check out it unique design.

I'm not sure....I'm almost sure truly speaking, that this is the unique YELLOW Zonda F in the World....anyway, I'm too glad that "he" is in Brazil :p

The former Siemens building in Saarbrücken has been transformed into a residential building with luxury appartments. In this picture I like the geometrical lines and patterns, contrasted by the light umbrellas and piilars.

The Sochi Arboretum is a unique museum where flora of Caucasus and different countries is represented. The park is more than 49 hectares (120 acres) in area and numbers about 1,600 species and forms of plants from all over the world. The Arboretum was founded in 1890s by a famous journalist and publisher of that time Stepan Khudyakov. The plants were bought in botanical gardens of the Crimea, Germany and Caucasus. Arboretum is located in Khosta district of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia.

Driving along Kebler Pass in Colorado, I noticed this beautiful tree. Kebler Pass has one of the largest aspen groves in all of Colorado.
It's funny, but I pass these carvings on a regular basis but never though to get any pictures until today. These are actually carved into the fence posts and are very unique. I have a couple more that I will share later.
The thing I love about water reflections is their uniqueness, no one will ever see this exact pattern again
UP's LSF54A heads South through Wilmington, IL with quite the consist. Normally this local is just typically a pair of GP60's but today it had 2 visitors and they were lead by the SSW GP60. 3rd out was a former UP SW1500 that is being sold and 4th out is an ECRX SD40-2. 8/23/17
