Gulls or seagulls are seabirds of the family Laridae in the suborder Lari. They are most closely related to the terns (family Sternidae) and only distantly related to auks, skimmers, and more distantly to the waders. Gulls are typically medium to large birds, usually grey or white, often with black markings on the head or wings. They typically have harsh wailing or squawking calls; stout, longish bills; and webbed feet. Most gulls are ground-nesting carnivores which take live food or scavenge opportunistically, particularly the Larus species. Live food often includes crabs and small fish. Gulls have unhinging jaws which allow them to consume large prey. Gulls are typically coastal or inland species, rarely venturing far out to sea, except for the kittiwakes. 38956
Two of my beautiful sisters love that we've grown so close through the years. They are by far unhinged and hilarious. We Love a good SLore look lol
With the particularly unhinged SS Das Reich based in the regional city, and bullet holes from occasional shots that either missed or went through local resistance fighters still visible on the upper walls of an old cafe of the nearest market town, the times of insane ideology and swastika perversion still cast shadows. The mother of someone I translate with used to walk provisions for resistance fighters and leave them yonder to the left of this section of river.
This photogenic cottage constantly challenges me to create an atmospheric or nostalgic image. At least once, I've seen an artist set up her easel across the street to paint it. And the owners are always quick to mount holiday decorations. But it is slightly unhinged, after all.
Caroline and I fought our way into the countryside last Sunday to take photos........we're just a bit unhinged!
I redid my face AGAIN! Imperia had a release for a shape I FEEL instantly for and tried to talk myself out of it, but my friend who was suppose to be my voice of reason told me to do it because they are limited releases, so I DID IT!!! I kept the face pretty much the same, only thing I made a big change was my body. I kept my body shape I am currently liking... The outfit I put together at the THE CRYPTID EVENT and other goodies from my "closet"..

"Yo, you don't want no smoke
No, no, do not disturb me
No, you don't want no smoke
Uh
Never been the type to take no disrespect
God's still working on me, so please come correct
Reaching out to God like keep your kids in check
'Cause if I lose my cool I won't have no regrets
Honestly, I am in the process so don't get it twisted
I'll put you in check
We can go back to back to back to back to back
Wake up the old me
I'll put you rest
Working on me but I'm still clocked in
I've been on edge don't want to see the end
Don't open that door cause I'm real unhinged
Had to tell my ex that we can't be friends
What you thought this was?
You know I am a giver
You said you need space now you trying to reconsider
Huh
Don't get sentimental you caught up in the middle
You thought you can play me I was real instrumental
Huh
I'm trying to pray to God on snap back
I am a standing ovation with clap back
Yeah, I am all on your head like snap back
Yeah, I am about to eat you up like a rap snack
God help me please
They can try anyone else but me
They can try anyone else but me
I'm just trying to find a little love and some peace
I'm just trying to heal and I'm trying to be all in
Old me is triggered but she said to keep calling
Are they coming for me but I'm trying to keep stalling
Are they coming for me?
'Cause you don't want no smoke
You don't want no gas
You don't want this pain
You don't know my past
You don't want to see the old me
But I swear she about to come back
You don't want to see the old me
Pray to God she don't come back
'Cause you don't want no smoke
You don't want no gas
You don't want this pain
'Cause you don't know my past
You don't want to see the old me
'Cause I swear she about to come back
You don't want to see the old me
Pray to God she don't come back
Do not disturb me
But lucky for you
I've been working on me
So I guess you can call it a blessing
Normally I would just body you
Leave you unread and don't even stress it
You hitting my line
You're so out of line
Lately, I know you obsessing
You miss what we had
You want to go back
And now you got all these confessions
Just save it, look
You know I am running out of patience
You know it ain't going to change it, nah
You know it ain't going to save it, look
I should just block you
Airplane mode I drop you
Saw three dots, so let me stop you
Calling my phone is not no option
You had your chance and now you lost it
You don't want no smoke
You don't want no gas
You don't want this pain
You don't know my past
You don't want to see the old me
But I swear she about to come back
You don't want to see the old me
Pray to God she don't come back
You don't want no smoke
You don't want no gas
You don't want this pain
Cause you don't know my past
You don't want to see the old me
'Cause I swear she about to come back

Pelicans are a genus of large water birds that make up the family Pelecanidae. They are characterised by a long beak and a large throat pouch used for catching prey and draining water from the scooped-up contents before swallowing. They have predominantly pale plumage, the exceptions being the brown and Peruvian pelicans. The bills, pouches, and bare facial skin of all species become brightly coloured before the breeding season. The eight living pelican species have a patchy global distribution, ranging latitudinally from the tropics to the temperate zone, though they are absent from interior South America and from polar regions and the open ocean. Pelicans frequent inland and coastal waters, where they feed principally on fish, catching them at or near the water surface. They are gregarious birds, travelling in flocks, hunting cooperatively, and breeding colonially. Four white-plumaged species tend to nest on the ground, and four brown or grey-plumaged species nest mainly in trees. The relationship between pelicans and people has often been contentious. The birds have been persecuted because of their perceived competition with commercial and recreational fishing. Their populations have fallen through habitat destruction, disturbance, and environmental pollution, and three species are of conservation concern. They also have a long history of cultural significance in mythology, and in Christian and heraldic iconography.

Gulls, often referred to as seagulls, are seabirds of the family Laridae in the suborder Lari. They are most closely related to the terns (family Sternidae) and only distantly related to auks, skimmers, and more distantly to the waders. Until the 21st century, most gulls were placed in the genus Larus, but this arrangement is now known to be polyphyletic, leading to the resurrection of several genera. An older name for gulls is mew, cognate with German Möwe, Danish måge, Dutch meeuw, and French mouette; this term can still be found in certain regional dialects.

Most gulls, particularly Larus species, are ground-nesting carnivores, which take live food or scavenge opportunistically. Live food often includes crabs and small fish. Gulls have unhinging jaws which allow them to consume large prey. Apart from the kittiwakes, gulls are typically coastal or inland species, rarely venturing far out to sea. The large species take up to four years to attain full adult plumage, but two years is typical for small gulls. Large white-headed gulls are typically long-lived birds, with a maximum age of 49 years recorded for the herring gull.
Gulls nest in large, densely packed noisy colonies. They lay two or three speckled eggs in nests composed of vegetation. The young are precocial, being born with dark mottled down, and mobile upon hatching.
Gulls—the larger species in particular—are resourceful, inquisitive and intelligent birds, demonstrating complex methods of communication and a highly developed social structure. For example, many gull colonies display mobbing behaviour, attacking and harassing would-be predators and other intruders. Certain species (e.g. the herring gull) have exhibited tool use behaviour, using pieces of bread as bait with which to catch goldfish, for example. Many species of gulls have learned to coexist successfully with humans and have thrived in human habitats. Others rely on kleptoparasitism to get their food. Gulls have been observed preying on live whales, landing on the whale as it surfaces to peck out pieces of flesh.

Over three months ago Eric made a grim bargain with black magic users for the restoration of his hand bitten off by the unhinged werewolf Haley Jackson. The transplanted hand of the deceased vampire Lillith had been grafted onto the stump of his arm by the deal struck that night to allow for time so that his body could accept the limb, fae accelerated healing transforming it into his own and finally the dark magic purged from his system. That night’s sudden infusion of dark unnatural magic into the fae had triggered a violent reaction by his body. Plunging into a pit of lava to recover from the ordeal of the ritual Eric’s body had grown black dragon scales as a reaction to protect himself from the dark magic. It seemed that time had come. The profane taint left on his body had taken over three months to purge and now gone the scales were apparently no longer necessary.
A few more moments of agony as the dark carapace that had covered Eric’s body was molted showing the noble fae to his True Form. Standing up he felt strong, wiser after his suffering. He could sense Winter was waning. He could feel the Summer in the coming months growing nearer by the second and for the first time in a long time he smiled in the pure warmth of sunshine as he was revealed Ignatius Burningshard, Noble of the Seelie Court, current King of the Hawthorne Gleann.

Hope everyone understands that I don't always share locations on social media. Reasons are my own, but I'll hit the highlights for you. I see some form of vandalism or graffiti almost everywhere I go, as I did here. Also, over-visitation causes unintended environmental impacts and erosion. Near the top of the list, however, is simply this... I enjoy solitude when I can get it, ESPECIALLY in wilderness environments. So I really have no interest in broadcasting those areas where one can still go and have a relatively decent chance of not bumping shoulders with people.
If you need a prime example of what happens once the obscure places get blasted across social media, read about the Devil's Bathtub in Virginia. Middle of nowhere. Formerly rarely visited, it is now utter mayhem with people parked all down the road... and yes, trashed.
While I'm at it, I'll go ahead and share a related pet peeve that happens on social media with landscape photography. When someone chooses NOT to disclose the location, and a person thinks it's cute to come along and say "oohhhhh, that's blah blah blah in the blah blah area!!"... impressing us all that they're "in the know"... it's not cute, it's lame. I see this so frequently. Keep it to yourself. If you want to disclose locations, do it on your post. Frankly, I wish more people would lean towards not sharing, unless it's a known and visible landmark.
Now, after my unhinged rant, I hope you get a really peaceful vibe from this image and have a wonderful day :-). Go exploring, there are lots of hidden gems out there away from the popular spots.

I know you’re there. And that knowing takes my heart into your world. An infinity of water. The sacred substance of life. I try to imagine what it’s like, gliding smoothly beneath the surface, seeing creatures and landscapes that are like dreams made real. Above, the seagulls ride the wind and briefly the clouds permit a dappling of sunlight. Below, you travel through a blue forest of liquid light beams.
Right now, around 20,000 of you are traveling from Alaska all the way down to Mexico, right along my coast. I know you’re there. I’ve looked and I’ve waited - in vain. I have yet to take a single picture of you. But I’ve seen you on several occasions over the years, feeding close to shore, a glistening black mountain between the waves, spraying a fountain of mist! What a thrill! I remember each instance vividly. Even though we’ve never had a direct encounter, I felt touched by you, I felt I knew something about you, that you are gentle. And I felt you know secrets about the true nature of love.
Your mouth may be one of the biggest on the planet, but it’s not you who depletes the ocean. It is us. Driven by an appetite unhinged from nature, we eat off the plates of those yet to be born. Not only our own generations, but yours and everybody’s. I never want to look out over this ocean and know you’re not there anymore. Thankfully, we stopped just short of killing you all and you have made a promising recovery. We can choose to move away from the cancerous idea of perpetual growth and towards a new appreciation of balance. Like the dancer who can hold her center, the pursuit of balance results in much grace and beauty.
Be always there, gliding smoothly.
