A reef off Cozumel, Mexico, with a coral formation created by the fluidity of the current. The sunlight penetrates through the depth and touches the surroundings.
Under the sea, under the sea
Darling, it's better down where it's wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore, they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin', full time to floatin'
Under the sea (Ah-ha-ha)

in a moment of stillness amidst an architectural marvel, a solitary figure walks under the vast, elliptical opening of the structure, dwarfed by its scale. the interplay of shadows and reflections creates a dramatic pattern across the curved facade, where lines intersect in a dance of light and geometry. the minimalistic composition and high contrast in black and white elevate the scene to a visual symphony, capturing a fleeting moment in a space that feels both immense and intimate. it's a study of scale, solitude, and the silent dialogue between human and architecture.
The I-90 bridges are two floating bridges over Lake Washington that connect the east side of Seattle to and from the city. The section of bridge seen here is the connection between land to floating sections. The Murrow Bridge is the second-longest floating bridge on Earth at 6,620 ft (2,020 m); the longest is the Governor Albert D. Rosellini Bridge—Evergreen Point (2016, original: 1963), a few miles north on the same lake. The third-longest is the Hood Canal Bridge, about thirty miles (50 km) to the northwest. The original Murrow Bridge opened in 1940 and was called the Lake Washington Floating Bridge. It was renamed the Lacey V. Morrow bridge in 1967. The original bridge closed in 1989; with the current bridge opening in 1993.

Taken on a recent morning along the Yarra River looking under Sandridge Bridge. I managed to get this shot before the first rowers disturbed the almost perfect reflections, on what was one of the stillest mornings I have seen.
The picture was taken together with #K.M._Photography in Lindau (Germany) under a bridge on a rainy, cloudy day
Still in the churchyard at Bookham Church looking at the blossom for once seen while it was still at it's best . I took a few normal shots , some already on flickr , however , this time this was a quick shot with the camera pointing straight up from under the canopy .

Callie loves to sit in the "window" of one of our cat playhouses outside. I think the arch suits her!
Happy Caturday! - "Under"
I've caught a bad cold, and haven't been able to smell anything for over a week. So, on the bright side, it doesn't bother me at all if Heidi brings her stinky new toy containing valerian root inside. However, I'll have to kick it out about a week before I get any visitors with fully functioning noses and olfactory nerves... ;-)
Well….That misty and… mystical Chateau-morning, that I was telling you about in my previous capture, I was also found in this extraordinary spot: so close to the…Mystical River’s multi-coloured, glittering waters, and under the golden-leaved branches of some of his trees …I had this same enchanting feeling, that I used to have being a little girl playing alone, when I was suddenly found covered by the plants growing in our garden at the time…I was feeling utterly protected and happy, believing I was surrounded by Fairies!! I used to stay sitting under there –- eyes closed -- in silence, for a lot of minutes, until I heard the voice of my Mama calling me….But that mystical morning at the Chateau, it was a happy barking dog, that brought me back to the here and now…
