NYS&W 1800 is parked under the I-80 overpass in Saddle Brook, NJ with a short work train in tow. The train was occupying the old eastbound main track 2 which was still intact at the time and used as a switching lead in this area.

'Under the Storm' - Captured on 1st April as stormy weather swept across Torbay. I managed to get this one in before the heavens opened and I had to make a dash back to the car.

Captured at Oyster Cove, Paignton,Devon, UK.

So many colours exploding this time of year.

Under The Sea

This was going to be my entry for this weeks @trickybricks build challenge "Under The Sea" but sadly work got in the way and I ran out of time to enter So here it is a few days late.

It's not a very intentional shot, just fooling around with my new zoom lens :D

But this location is nice, yet another extension of the land into the sea and it's still under construction so not full of tourists.

Fav if you noticed the child in the back seat!

A long exposure view from under the boardwalk of Paignton Pier.

Thank you for looking.

A reef off Cozumel, Mexico, with a coral formation created by the fluidity of the current. The sunlight penetrates through the depth and touches the surroundings.

Under the sea, under the sea

Darling, it's better down where it's wetter

Take it from me

Up on the shore, they work all day

Out in the sun they slave away

While we devotin', full time to floatin'

Bridges of Durham City. This one is some of the arches that make up Elvet Bridge . A medieval masonry arch bridge across the river wear. The building of the bridge began in1160.

You can see Browns Rowing Boats in this shot and hire the boats for a nice ride on the wear.

Taken under the banks of the William Girling reservoir.

in a moment of stillness amidst an architectural marvel, a solitary figure walks under the vast, elliptical opening of the structure, dwarfed by its scale. the interplay of shadows and reflections creates a dramatic pattern across the curved facade, where lines intersect in a dance of light and geometry. the minimalistic composition and high contrast in black and white elevate the scene to a visual symphony, capturing a fleeting moment in a space that feels both immense and intimate. it's a study of scale, solitude, and the silent dialogue between human and architecture.

The I-90 bridges are two floating bridges over Lake Washington that connect the east side of Seattle to and from the city. The section of bridge seen here is the connection between land to floating sections. The Murrow Bridge is the second-longest floating bridge on Earth at 6,620 ft (2,020 m); the longest is the Governor Albert D. Rosellini Bridge—Evergreen Point (2016, original: 1963), a few miles north on the same lake. The third-longest is the Hood Canal Bridge, about thirty miles (50 km) to the northwest. The original Murrow Bridge opened in 1940 and was called the Lake Washington Floating Bridge. It was renamed the Lacey V. Morrow bridge in 1967. The original bridge closed in 1989; with the current bridge opening in 1993.

It's starting to get cold on the highest peaks.

Tahoe National Forest, Nevada

Taken on a recent morning along the Yarra River looking under Sandridge Bridge. I managed to get this shot before the first rowers disturbed the almost perfect reflections, on what was one of the stillest mornings I have seen.

The picture was taken together with #K.M._Photography in Lindau (Germany) under a bridge on a rainy, cloudy day

Still in the churchyard at Bookham Church looking at the blossom for once seen while it was still at it's best . I took a few normal shots , some already on flickr , however , this time this was a quick shot with the camera pointing straight up from under the canopy .
