Gluing the linings on to uke body. Clothes Pegs work a treat, though I'll admit there are one or two gaps - stronger pegs needed next time

Siste uka i juni 2019 besøkte 8 venner fra tyske DLRG Berlin Norge og RSRK Kristiansand. Det ble en uke full av opplevelser og masse aktiviteter fra morra til kveld.
I Løpet av uka ble det tid til St.Hans feiring, besk hos RS 147 "Inge Steensland" i Arendal, fotturer i og rundt Marvika og Odderøya, shopping, Kristiansand brannstasjon, Tømmerrenna i Vennesla, sommerfest og mere til.
Når uka var over, var det med tungt hjerte vi måtte ta farvell. Men alle var enig om at det hadde vært en fin tur og vi gleder oss til neste gang vi treffes.
Last week in June 2019, 8 friends from German DLRG visited Berlin Norway and RSRK Kristiansand. It was a week full of experiences and lots of activities from morning to evening.
During the week there was time for Midsummer eve celebration, visit RS 147 "Inge Steensland" in Arendal, hiking in and around Marvika and Odderøya, shopping, Kristiansand fire station, Tømmerrenna in Vennesla, summer party and more.
When the week was over, we had to say goodbye with a heavy heart. But everyone agreed that it had been a great trip and we look forward to the next time we meet.
I've been playing around with it off an on today and love it! Granted, it's not the best uke. It has it's issues since it's a cheap uke, but it does the trick for me just fine until I upgrade it.

Folk uke, talented jet-lagged folk singers. Everything went wrong from the beginning, they never seemed to recover. I would like to listen them more.
This is the the uke with a poly finish and the nut and saddle glued on. It is in a very simple jig I used to find the centerline & for gluing. It is oversized in the hopes I will use it for the Stewart McDonald tenor ukulele kit I want to try my hand at. The tri-square in the shot has nothing to do with the making of this uke. I just thought it would look good.
When finding center and gluing up, the neck and the body are in the jig face down.
