This is a Uke-A-Lin, a Ukulele and Violin combination musical instrument.
This one originally sold for $35 and the price has not changed. The man selling it had the same price on it.
I saw this at the flea market with my grandparents and I got a picture of it.
I found a page which explains the uke-a-lin better than I would be able to.
I was sorely tempted but have been warned that novelty ukes rarely stay in tune. And perhaps three is one too many ukes for a boy to have.
J'aurais bien aimé prendre cet instrument, mais j'ai des doutes sur la qualité du son. Et trois ukulélés, cela fait beaucoup !

My current collection of ukuleles. They have become a little bit of an obsession since I started learning how to play three years ago.
A nice old banjo-uke that a customer bought at auction. I tried to talk him out of it, but all he wanted was a new head on it, so I obliged. He'll fix it up and play it, so that's a good thing. December 2008.
Edit: actually, after a bit of effort, he lost interest, and I ended up with it. Now to get it back in working order.
