One of the motifs on the Wuppertal Railway is the Kemna Bridge near the Erfurt company. 365 695 of the Aggerbahn pulls the museum train toward Beyenburg.
Über fünf Jahrzehnte hinweg beschäftigte sich Nancy Holt damit, wie wir unsere Umwelt wahrnehmen und unseren Platz auf der Oberfläche dieses Planeten zu verstehen versuchen. Mit Circles of Light zeigt der Gropius Bau ab März 2024 die bislang umfassendste Überblicksausstellung der Künstlerin in Deutschland. Die Ausstellung umfasst unter anderem Film, Video, Fotografie, Soundarbeiten, konkrete Poesie, Skulpturen und raumgreifende Installationen sowie Zeichnungen und Dokumentationen aus über 25 Jahren.
Over the course of five decades, Nancy Holt explored how we perceive our environment and how we attempt to understand our place on the surface of this planet. From March 2024, the Gropius Bau presents Circles of Light, the artist’s most comprehensive survey exhibition in Germany to date. It includes film, video, photography, sound works, concrete poetry, sculptures and expansive installations as well as drawings and documentation from over 25 years.

In einer Wetterpause zwischen Sturm und Regen konnten wir am Himmel über dem Heerenven unverhofft die Rufe und Flugkünste dreier Bussarde genießen, hier im Bild der auffälligste.

Nach mehreren Tagen Regen mußte sich doch etwas in der Pilzwelt tun. Die Aufnahmen habe ich liegend und mit Sucher gemacht. Über das Kameradisplay war kaum eine Aufnahme möglich.
Im Wald war es sehr dunkel und ohne Stativ nur mit ISO 2000 eine Aufnahme möglich.

Bereits seit dem 01.September ist Hamburgs "Straßenbahn" im Hafen Geschichte - seitdem ist die alte Kattwykbrücke für den Eisenbahnverkehr gesperrt, um den Neubau links ans Schienennetz anzuschließen. Ab Dezember werden die Güterzüge ausschließlich über die neu gebaute Kattwykbrücke rollen, während dem Straßenverkehr die alte Brücke erhalten bleibt.
Am 26.06. war noch alles beim Alten, als 386 014 von Metrans ihre Containerwagenschlange über die Brücke in Richtung des Zielbahnhofs Dradenau bringt.

[NL] Op zondagavond 26 januari bracht LTE een set witte GATX Eamnos'n het land binnen. Een maand later, op 22 februari, rijdt LTE voor het eerst een trein beladen met kolen met deze wagenset. Voor het zuiden des lands werd het een vaste prik, iedere zaterdagochtend vertrok de kolentrein naar Oostenrijk. De rit naar Nederland rijdt vaak in het donker. Sinds april rijdt de trein wat onregelmatiger, maar stand augustus 2020 lijkt het er op dat de trein 1x in de twee weken rijdt. De trein rijdt steevast via grensovergang Venlo, maar werkzaamheden begin april maakte dit onmogelijk. Begin april reed de trein dan ook via grensovergang Emmerich.
Wegens een defect strandde de 186 941 op een onbekende datum in Koblenz. De trein heeft daar een tijdje gestaan, tenminste van 12 april tot 15 april. Op 15 april kwam er echter weer schot in de zaak. Hulploc 193 620 bracht de trein naar Amsterdam. Als kers op de taart reed de trein via het conventionele net naar de Amsterdamse Westhaven, waar de trein weer beladen wordt. Na een aantal meldingen vanuit Duitsland snel uitrekenen hoe laat de trein op z'n vroegst langs Ede zou komen en vervolgens duimen dat er in Emmerich niet al te lang werd gekampeerd. En zo zien we, na een half uur ijsberen, de 193 620 met op sleeptouw de 186 941 en een sleep GATX Eamnos'n.

[DE] LTE 193 620 hat die deffekte 186 941 mit GATX Eamnos-Wagen aus Koblenz geholt. Nach mindestens drei Tagen fuhr den Zug am 15. April endlich ab. Zum Glück verkehrte der Zug über Ede statt der Betuwestrecke. Bei Ede konnte die tolle Fuhre abgelichtet werden.

Über den Prerower Strom zum Bodstedter Bodden:
Der Prerower Strom ist ein Gewässer, das sich vom Bodstedter Bodden bis in die Ortslage Prerow erstreckt und dann in der Prerower Bucht in Richtung Übergang zur Seebrücke in einem breiteren Abschnitt endet. Ursprünglich verband dieses Seegatt die Ostsee mit dem Bodden, versandete jedoch nach einer schweren Sturmflut im Jahr 1872 im nördlichen Teil. Um die Ortschaft zu schützen, wurde es allmählich zugeschüttet und von der Seeseite aus durch Deiche gesichert.

Über Weihnachten ist am Gotthard meist sehr wenig Güterverkehr, am 23.12.15 waren aber noch ein paar nette Bespannungen zu sehen. Unabhängig von den Feiertagen waren natürlich die IR normal unterwegs. Die grüne Re 4/4 11161 lieferte dabei die nötige Abwechslung und wurde an der Erstfelder Ausfahrt fotografiert.
