I like the shine on the waxy petals of this tulip, even though the flower itself does not really appeal to me. Saying that, I'm taking enough bloomin' photographs of them - haha!!

Explored :)

I turn 25 today. Time to see the path I've past, enjoy the present, and look forward to new beginnings.

Hokitika Gorge's new swing bridge. While it still qualifies as a swing bridge, it felt more like a suspension bridge. Not near as much play and much wider than the original bridge.

It was rain here almost everyday. Now i need more than one sun :)

To get two splashes simultaneously I needed two hands, and so my big toe was drafted into service as the presser of the cable release. I learned that it is difficult to synchronize the motion of two hands and a leg at once, while using the remaining leg to stand.

One that got away from me due to late shutter release.

They left the nest early morning and hopped around in the bushes all day. They will probably stay in my garden for quite a while.

There are only two worlds - your world, which is the real world, and other worlds, the fantasy.

Worlds like this are worlds of the human imagination: their reality, or lack of reality, is not important. What is important is that they are there.

These worlds provide an alternative. Provide an escape. Provide a threat. Provide a dream, and power; provide refuge, and pain. They give your world meaning. They do not exist; and thus they are all that matters.
