Both elegant ole stylish ladies these , both 95 years old and holding their age well and both are sisters , 1926 Lancia Lambdas . Their on a Sunday outing with other members of the Lancia Car club with these girls getting that added respect for age and grace .

This is (yet another) shot from one of the most visually stunning shows that I have ever seen. It features two members of 'Kataklo', an athletic dance group from Italy, composed entirely of former Olympic gymnasts.
I became friendly with the show's producer (Angella Kwon) this year, having met (and become friendly with) her sister Boram (who currently studies at my old university in Stirling) last year. Both are South Korean and Angella was producing two South Korean shows at this year's Edinburgh Fringe...and also Kataklo.
We were having lunch, the day before the last Kataklo show (I had only seen them perform on the Royal Mile) when Angella kindly invited me along and asked me to take photographs. I could not have taken this shot with my old camera. This (and several others like this) were taken at 3200 ISO, hand held with a shutter speed of 1/20th of a second (I just love image stabilisation) and relying on autofocus. I love my Canon EOS-5D!
Just to prove I know a number of talented people, my friend Ken Campbell has a progressive rock group called 'Crooked Mouth'. At the moment, he is preparing their second album ('Hold in the Sun') for release. I will be providing photographs for the CD, the idea being to produce a photo that represents each different song. Gilmore Car Museum is in the countryside near Hickory Corners, Michigan. The museum property adjoining two crossroads is lined with this nice white fence. The setting sun cast some mellow light as my cousin and I were leaving the Wednesday evening cruise-in on June 16, 2010.

Guarding nation's boundaries is a career which involves a great amount of sacrifice not the least of which is surviving intense cold and lack of basic amenities at these heights!

Two sisters.
Molly and Ethel Everson lived and breathed their lives on the River Deben at Woodbridge where they toiled alongside their brothers Cyril and Bert.
It was truly a family affair as they had inherited the boatyard in 1969 with the passing of their father so it was inevitable that they would retain the boatyard in the family name.
Whilst the memory of Cyril and Bert can be seen on the boats that they crafted as many are still sailing the waters of the River Deben today and these craft are a testimony to these highly skilled boat builders.
Molly and Ethel managed the administrative side of the business which included the chandlery, sail store and office and by all accounts they were tough but hard working women.
Andrew Bolton was commissioned by the Woodbridge Boat Yard to create a sculpture dedicated to the two women and in November 2020 the sculpture was fittingly positioned appropriately in the River Deben a place that the Everson’s knew and loved.
