The man I met yesterday and my friend Linda at the table for Easter. This man is a true miracle. I’ll get to that later. He has Cerebral Palsy and is 78 now.

This is Budle bay in Northumberland roughly one mile square in plan of open beach, opening into the North Sea, an area of Outstanding natural beauty it runs from Bamburgh to Holy Island and I would say it was the most deserted beach we have been on in the UK only second to Tresco Island on the Isle of Scilly.
Apart from the two couples in my shot we had this whole area to ourselves for most of the day. I shot many images around here of the bay and objects we found on the beach, Lowena was able to run free and I think she enjoyed it as much as we did.

I watched these two labs as they played at the water's edge in the Valdez Harbor. They exhibited such childlike exuberance, seemingly enjoying each other's company, and life in general. They didn't care who was watching as they struggled together to carry the water soaked log up the bank.
If only humans could get as much enjoyment from life, as our furry friend's do.
I know that Doc and I have tried our best to squeeze in a little fun between our daily chores and other obligations.

A new Heliconia flower is emerging like a flame. But look closely, it has a constant mate. There is a little baby Katydid sitting there, and has been since the flower emerged days ago. The Katydid tried to hide if you get close but it obviously likes its new residence.
