I photographed this female Red-winged Blackbird amongst acres of Sunflowers. Since their diet is seeds and insects I assumed she was eating seeds. When going through my photos I was surprised that she had two caterpillars!

Well I was lucky today with two man-made leafs to photograph.

I couldn't help but notice this vibrant lily while on a recent neighbourhood walk. I really liked its vibrant colours in contrast to the greens.

Two young burrowing owls at their burrow in Cape Coral. The difference in characters is quite obvious.

Cape Coral Library used to be a very popular location to see the owls. I read that recently the owls have mostly moved on, so please do your homework if you go looking for them. They are everywhere but sometimes it takes time to find them.

Two subjects. I’m sure that breaks some rule of art. But the pretty little Spotted Sandpiper and the rugged driftwood make a pair that seems to go together nicely. This was a windy, rainy, cool morning in July along the shores of Lake Champlain.
