Razorbills are very stylish birds. Dapper, even. And the yellow insides of their beaks are in striking contrast with their black-and-white costumes.

Isn't it cool?

Aurora just loves it!

..especially when she begged and begged me to go outside. (She is the only one of our cats with outdoor privileges.)

It is raining outside, as it was when she ran out. I have opened the door for her to come in a half-dozen times--including immediately after she ran into the rain.

Trying to strip the bed and my 15 year old jumps on the bed and starts trying to play… so I play❤️ it’s not often he wants to play anymore.

Young kitty peacefully living in a hotel's courtyard! Discreetly appearing, only cat-loving customers notice her!

Some time ago I visited APCA, an NGO for cats and farm animals, located in Uruguay in the department of Canelones.

APCA arises from the need to generate a safe place for the rehoming of colonies of feral, endangered or abused cats. They currently also have farm animals that have been rescued from human abuse.

The work they do is exceptional.

Among the animals rescued there are cases of cruelty, accidents, paralysis, cancer and other diseases, as well as cats that have been abandoned.

In viable cases, they are available for responsible adoption.

It's a gorgeous morning to out on the Tier. Conrail B36-7 #5050 sails along the eastern portion of the Tier at Tuxedo, NY making the last leg of this double stack train journey to the NY/NJ area. The B36-7's were a common locomotive used by Conrail for intermodel trains.
