I found this place near the one of the old Imperial rice barns that had been converted into an opera house. It's a hard-to-find but charming area of the city. Not even my driver or assistant could find it, and they've lived in Beijing their entire lives!

Ya sólo queda ensamblarlo. Para ello hacemos pequeños agujeros en la parte de arriba de la calabaza y en la base de las piruletas con una pequeña broca manual del mismo grosor que el alambre que vamos a utilizar para hacerle el palo a las piruletas. Cortamos trocitos de alambre de 1 cm de longitud, ponemos pegamento en los extremos y los insertamos en la base de las piruletas y en la calabaza.
Si queréis un acabado brillante sólo hay que barnizar ¡y listo!

Ahora que están tan de moda los tutoriales sobre retoque fotográfico, paso a exponer uno realizado con una técnica mía.
Bien, cuando queremos aplicar una textura a una imagen, en este caso una flor. Normalmente aplicamos una textura conseguida, o fotografiada por ahí, sobre la imagen. A la que también se suele retocar con capas de ajuste y modos de fusión para conseguir el efecto deseado para mezclar las dos imágenes.
Para un efecto como el de esta imagen, también se suele utilizar el filtro distorsionar-cristal, y algún tipo de desenfoque gausiáno.
Todos esos pasos, llevan un cierto tiempo ante el pc, salvo para los gurús del photoshop, que lo hacen mientras toman un café, con dos golpes de ratón. A los neófitos nos lleva bastante mas.
Pues bien, esta es la técnica que yo uso para ahorrar tiempo.
1º- Cojo la cámara.
2º- Salgo a la terraza.
3º- Observo si, en el cristal que separa mi terraza de la de la vecina, hay alguna flor aplastada contra mi lado. Si es así, paso al punto cuatro.
4º- Compongo la imagen y disparo.
Nótese que he ahorrado un cierto tiempo. Amén de haber tomado un poco el sol, que nunca viene mal, entre inundación e inundación. Y si encima andaba la vecina por allí, pues se charla un poco del tiempo, que también viene bien para fomentar las relaciones sociales.
Eso es todo, espero que os sirva para algo. Suerte. :P

The finished size of the basket is 7cm(w) x7cm(d) x9cm(h). This project is perfect for consuming your scrap fabric. Also this project is easy and quick. I hand-sewed these two in the picture. Of course you can use your sewing machine as well. It would be much quicker like a flurry of wind! Small fabric baskets are versatile so you would want to make more and more. Have fun!
